Ok thank you and also what is the amount of purples do you think I will get in 10 runs?

[/ QUOTE ]
I will second the "probably zero" number, but who knows, maybe the RNG likes you. I've played for months without getting purples, but in the week before i14 came out i had 6 drop.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've gotten alot of drops the last fews weeks, but before that I went months without one...since I've been paying attention anyway.

See, the sad thing is, I've only been doing the market thing seriously for maybe the last half year. Before that, my attitude was "I came to play, not screw around playing wallstreet with this market crap", so I'd sell *All* salvage and recipes to regular vendors and contacts. I distinctly remember having purple recipes (hmm those are odd) and shedding myself of them for the street price (just a few thousand inf.), along with untold ammounts of rare salvage, etc.

Then one day I decided to just have a look at some market prices. My jaws dropped when I saw how much Recipes, IOs and rare salvage were going for. Since then, I've learned the market (I'm a quick study). For a few of minutes of gametime each play session, I make millions, and I now have 20 purples on the a 50 I'm purpling out (this is a little over 2 months of just regular playing too)

Even so, I've leveled 3 characters to 50 and one to 48 in the year and and half I've been playing, and I *hate* thinking about all that Influence I literally threw away (probably over a billion) while I was struggling trying to get SOs haha. It'd be sad if it wasn't just a game and so dang funny

Yes Socorro, 47-50 can drop purps. The often-ess is due to ratio of the rare drop, not mob level.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I knew they *could* (had it happen) just wondered it was bit rarer for a 48 to drop a purp than a 50. Thanks for clarifying

Yea, i only use the market to sell on. I'll never pay 100's of millions for anything. To me, it's simply not worth it.

I discovered the joys of farming the wall in Cimerora - it's fun because I can spend as long or as short as I like doing it, no need to reset between runs, no need to find fillers, etc.

Ooooh, I hadn't thought of that. I tried the shard, PI and the RWZ.

Well it is alot of influence, and they're certainly not really worth that, but then, why not? I've already got all the non-purp IOs I can put on my main, so if I get a purple I can use I'll slot it, replacing another IO. If, during the course of playing and selling, I build up a 100 million or so Inf, I buy a purple recipe. Rince and Repeat. What else should I do with it?

I hate you, I was just about to use that avatar.

Try this one instead. It's an image of a plane breaking the sound barrier that's just as good as the one he's using.

Yeah the walls are *easy* for my human PB. I can AoE the minions to death very quickly while hovering just above them. They clamor over each other trying to get to me, but with my shields and heals, I'm in absolutely no danger from their spears and engineer grenades. It's literally like shooting fish in a barrel.

Indeed, it's an isolated moment of Tankmagery and I can see why a real Tankmage should never be in the game. I only do the Wall every once in a while and then only for a few minutes before I get bored to death and leave (or drop down and fight them mano a mano, much more challenging and dangerous, and thus, fun ). Fortunately the rest of the game doesn't have such easy scenarios...

which is a shame because fighting harder things are not rewarded properly IMO.

It's like why would you set customized mob to Extreme when they drop the same exp/tickets?

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

the wall gets too crowed on infinity, I'll see sometimes as many as 4 toons clamoring for the spawns. I like the shard myself. find a good sized island, and walk in a circle if you get lonely an HVAC heavy makes good company. Sure sometimes they'll spawn at lv 53 or 54 but mostly I see 50s

Because you hate people.

Which mish is this anyway? And what others are worth farming? I'm old and I don't know what's good in this brave new world.

The "Demon Farm" usually refers to the outdoors map full of Praetorian Infernal's demons (Heroside) or the Cargo Ship map full of CoT Possessed Scientists (Villainside).

A list of common farm missions can be found in this guide.
