UNEDITED PIGG FOLDER NEEDED
Wait, what? You can't send yours? Why the heck not? I don't understand this... please enlighten further this scenario? Kthx!
Btw, if you can't send yours, I doubt that any of ours will meet with any sort of success...
If it's a size thing, you can use a free uploading site *somewhere* to send it... just password it, k?
Not that I condone this action, mind, if it's against the rules, I'm just saying that as a file transfer process possibility, that's one.

Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012
I'm not sure how reinstalling the client woudln't give you unedited Pigg files. What you are ascing for is basically the entire installed game.
i can't send mine because the file is to big for e-mailing =/
and installing the game takes over 12+ hours due to really crappy interweb download speed (less then 256kbps )
the tech support page says to delete the piggs file andt hen launch the updater and redownload all the pigg files, but this takes over a day to do =/ so that is why i asked if anybody had a spare pigg folder lying around >_>;
I wasn't kidding when I said the Pigg folder is practically the game itself. It is 2.8 Gigs by itself. IT would be just as quick to reinstall.
i already said i tried that and it takes over a day to do Dx... and then it still doesn't finish it stops at like 95% and it's annoying =.='
Unless the download from the CoH/V servers is going considerably slower than downloads from other places do, you're going to run into the same problem with it from any source. 2.8 Gigs is 2.8 Gigs, after all. The only way that someone could help to avoid that would be to burn the thing and send it off to your friend on a DVD, but that would take even longer.

Pretty much this. Whether you download from Paragon Studios or from someone's shared site, you're still going to see the same download speed. If you need to do a full reinstall, though, I'd dig up your old CDs and see if they won't save you some of the download.

Which is why I say it won't matter who among us has it... unless it's delivered on a DVD, it won't help.

Not or nothing, but you could have already had it reinstalled by now.
i would say try to find a torrent of the game, possibly the gve or architect edition, that might download a little faster than the updater. otherwise you're s.o.l.

I wasn't trying to bring you down. This is something I've been trying to help my friend with with the last Issue update. He is on Dial-up and it's a pain in the rear trying to get the game to update. Especially since it has now decided it needs to download a gig for reasons unknown.
I've already looked into a faster way to update and noticed the pigg folder is practically the entire game. I know it sucks. hopefully you'll be able to get your friend up and running soon. We are still trying to figure out how to help my friend out short of bringing his computer to my house.
does anybody have an unedited pigg folder for download? or know where i can find one. my friend is having problems with the game ( and the solution calls for them deleteing the pigg folder and reinstalling it) but the reinstalling process isn't working. so i/we are trying to find a pigg folder she can use.
i tried sending mine but it keeps failing.
side note : this is not for any modding purposes or viewing, it is simple an attempt to resolve an installation issue.
