    and are they strong becuase they do more -def or because they last longer?

    hmmm thats alot... so generally speaking, a stalker IS the only class that can sneak up on other players (atleast the ones who know wtf they are doing )

    also how is the "range" of preception calculated? like i know if someone has a stealth of 500, and i have a preception of 510, i can see that person when they are within, 10'? of me... but really, how far is 10' in game? >_> is it like 2 steps or something? or 1 step while sprinting? or the size of a car?

    but i thought hide+ stealth didn't stack? (since all concealment powers don't stack with any other type of hiding powers )
    nvm i sees now... okie dokie.... ok what stealth ios? i dun see any stealth ios =[
  4. if a banespider is cloaked, and he does a ranged attack, does he still get a critical?
  5. so i know that everybody starts with a base preception of 500, and tactics can increase your preception by 432. and the " Rectified Reticle: Increased Perception" gives +100 but what other powers and ammounts can the preception be increase? (since the max is 1153 )
    a list of archtype, power name and increase number (lvl 50 max #) would be very much appreciated ^_^;
  6. so i did some studying and i see that my maximum stealth is 1146 and the max preception is 1153, how would i go about reaching both of these maxes? >_>;
    and how would other classes go about reaching the max preceptions?

That was really cool, seeing the "rocket boots" on the bots burning away.

    So I'd like to ask that any masterminds with Group Fly post some screenshots of your pets group flying with you. I know that different pets have different group fly animations for them, and I'd like to see them all ... without having to get 5 MMs to 20 in order to do it.

    So ... screenshots anyone?
    how was he ablet o leave the robots flying ? >_> BUH!?! or did he just kinda, fly down to the market and hover above the market?

  13. ok so excuse my noobyness, but how exactly is the controller/dominator good and what is it's roll in a group? is he just mainly there for buff/debuff?

    i understand that a defender is usually the resident healer, but i don't fully understand the roll of the controller =/

    More general advice for the pool powers is: yes most people take a lot of pool powers.

    Warshades get some very cool powers (and a few that aren't quite so good) but even the good powers need slots and the key mistake people make it taking too many powers and ending up underslotting them all, so they can't really do anything well.

    The best advice I can give you is to prioritise your human powers and slot them up as you want, then once you have ran out of slots start looking to the powers that don't need any, the power pools provide a lot of these kind of powers, even more so if you have a large budget and can take powers as IO mules. Despite being a generalist AT, trying to take and thus underslotting too many powers waters you down too much.

    Oh last piece of advice, even if you only take 1 power pool pick: make it Hasten*

    *which you can only click in human form, but the bonus carries over into the other forms for as long as Hasten lasts.
    i was honestly thinking of spending most of my time in spurka (squid) form so ^_^;

    why robots?

    entirely off topic, it'd be cool if costumely speaking you could get arm blasters, or atleast something other then hands >_>;

From my limited experience, the mercs aren't nearly as flighty as the ninjas, who can get in a lot of trouble.
    storm summoning ^_^;
    my back story is he's a scottish soldier (coz i'm scottish irl, whoo go me XD ) and anyway he's a soldier and he gets his "storm summoning" powers from his ancient scottish bloodline kinda thing ^_^;

Doing Energy damage allows the Bots to avoid the most common pitfall especially endgame - the ridiculous amount of Smashing/Lethal resistance in high-end foes.

    Bots is also the only set whose protections - the Prot Bots Force Fields - actually help the MM itself. And Bots also have two healers, while other sets have one (Mercs) or none (all others, with a slight caveat on life-draining Zombies).

    Thugs comes in second for much the same reason; between stacking Leadership buffs from the Enforcers, the Corruptor Arsonist and Brute Bruiser, Thugs offer a good combination of tough pets and good damage.

    Mercs are last because they're the weakest of the sets; the Mercs do almost entirely Lethal damage, and their utility and non-Lethal attacks are on ridiculously high recharges so they don't come up often enough to make them particularly useful. Zombies avoids this pitfall with Dark damage, life-draining (thus self-healing) pets, and debuffs, while Ninjas have the Fire/Dark Oni. Mercs just don't have enough to overcome their short falls, especially their Lethal damage, which is probably the most resisted damage type in the entire game.
    true that bots get 2 healers, but the healers only repair the MMs bots, doesn't heal the mm, nor his team mates (like the merc medic can) but the rest i understand about bots...

    I don't know. I know I picked robots because of the concept of the character I had in mind. Which wouldn't work with zombies, thugs, ninja's or mercenaries. Mercenaries are my second favorite though, even though I have yet to play one fully.

    I choose Robots for Master E(my Bots/FF MM) because he is part robot himself. And I choose robots because I can make up the story that when they are destroyed their AI gets downloaded into a new body which is kind of hard to do with mercenaries and the others. Of course I "roleplay" my robots as being semi smart and having a personality(and that is also why they have names like Craig, Destin, Desmond, Marshall, Malcolm and Martin)
    nice concept =D, thats why i picked mercs for my MM because it mixed with the backstory/rp concept i had for him
  22. HomsikPanda

    why robots?

    it seems like robot's are the most popular mm, imo, followed by thugs, then ninjas and necros are tied for 3rd and mercs are dead last =/

    why does everybody always go with robots?
    and why are mercs so over looked? imo mercs are pretty good, they have alot of debuffs/holds, and they're the only build that can heal everybody in your team (3rd summoned soldier is a medic and he has the ability to heal your minions, you, and you're teammates automaticly)

    Those powers since they are automatic will affect your Nova form for a few seconds after you've switched from Human-form to Nova-form, but the game eventually terminates their effect on your Nova-form only to re-activate it once you shift back to Human-form and spend a few seconds in Human-form.

    You can witness all this first-hand if you open the attribute monitor and display certain properties like Health/Endurance gain and Running/Flight speed and attempt to switch forms while looking at the attributes.
    ooohhh... ok, make sense... thx

    Since each Kheldian you play can be built differently, or employ two builds, you can take Pool Powers instead of core powers. The choices may be tough, but one thing you must never forget: every pool power you'll ever take must be executed from your Human-form, and only click-powers may carry-over to your other forms for a short period of time.
    so for example the pp fitness, switft, has no affect on my squid form?
  25. so i'm working (very very very hard) on getting my first warshade ^_^ (currently my hero is lvl 30 (20 more lvls till warshade !!!! =o )
    and i was just looking at the warshade stuff... looks like 25 powers in total to unlock which means that without powerpools i can unlock ALL the powers...

    is this wise? or should i get powerpools? and if so, which ones?
