Sidenote: With the Invasion happening this weekend look for a Dropship Raid in Talos being announced on Saturday.
Everyone is always welcome to Liberty MS raids, and if you have a team of 8 or your own SG team thats great bring them, faster takedown of pylons, bombs and GM's is always welcome. We do this for fun and because Liberty likes it.

I have gotten past all that stuff, and if you remember it was not I, but I got most of the grief, but whatever. I think it is cool a single 8 man team can solo the ship. Way to go, I figured it could be done, but the whole thing about most of the MS raids is to involve the whole community. As long as all can play nice, then all is good, I would hate other events to get messed up cause others think it is fun to make events not fun for everyone else.

I will be going out of town on Sunday, August 11 and I don't know how soon I will be back. I am not going to be able to host a raid before I leave. I don't know when I will next be able to host a raid as I don't know when I will be home again.

This is not about Mothership raids as much as it is a shameless plug, though I am super happy someone started a thread to organize these. Look for me to be attending some of these and some of the Avant-Guards and or Blackguards to be running some.
For the moment, I am dropping in to plug our anniversary events for tomorrow night through Saturday evening. Hope everyone comes out big time. As a courtesy try not to conflict raid days and times with someone else. It's poor form, that has already occured recently.

Ok, cool. I have never hosted a raid before, but have been to many hosted by either you or Steele. Since Steele is not going to be able to host a raid any time soon, does that leave the 'usual' slot open (Wednesday Nights, 9PM Eastern, 6PM Pacific) ?

I won't be able to attend the event on the 19th (travel to Canada for business, eh?), but I may put together a run for the 22nd or 29th if there is interest and the run on the 19th goes well. Please come out on the 19th to give Lurker support!

Well, for my first shot at running a raid, it wasn't totally horrible. We came out of it with about 220 Merits - not spectacular, but I've gotten worse. I learned a lot (TY Valor!) and would like to have another go at it!

I would like to thank Valor, Steele, and Devast8tor for all lending me a hand during last night's Raid! I think it went far better than my first run, although I still fell short of my 300 merit goal. LOL. Also, a big TY to all who came out for the raid!
