Elec Melee is the best AoE stalker set. Stalker Elec melee is also arguably the best AoE melee set in the game. Pick a defense secondary with it. I use EA on mine, but all of em have benefits.
Definately elec/nin is your best bet here. Lightning rod doesnt unhide you so you can thunderstrike crit right after you port in.

Spines is comparable if not superior.
Thunderstrike's AE (both in terms of size and damage) is pretty pathetic for a power that has a base recharge of 18 seconds.
Don't even get me started on Chain Induction.

Also it should be mentioned that using the term "arguably" in this fashion means that it is open to argument and possibly incorrect. Which is usually short-hand for "I have a feeling to the effect of, but don't feel like doing the math myself and also I'd be willing to accept an alternate opinion of someone less lazy than myself did the math".
It's the definitive non-commital that assumes authority without actually having any.
Martial Arts. With feet that fast, it will LOOK like an AoE.
Elec Has more AoE attacks than Spines, But I love my spines for AoE.
...And thats pretty much all I have to say, except for make sure to grab Mu's Ball Lightning...
By the numbers I think Spines works out the best due to Ripper and Throw Spines being the best DPA attacks in the set, but that's with the assumption that there's no travel time between spawns and everything is in the cones. In practice, Electric Melee does as well with a faster AoE burst since you'll end up picking off single targets from the survivors and it has better/faster-animating single target damage.

That's begging the question.
Id say dual blades ranks up there at about 3rd for best aoe. 1,000 cuts out of hide can be very brutal, and sweeping strike isnt a sissy power either. I kill fairly quickly on my DB/electric/mu.
Yeah DBs can lay out the hurt. From hidden BU + 1kcuts + placate + sweeping strike can be surprising.
Anyone know what the best AoE stalker is? I like the idea of AoE and I prefer a stalker although I could be persuaded to play a brute if need be.
Just looking at the primaries, I dont see any really good AoE stalker that stands out above the rest.
Anyone help here?
