Pulverize, Blazing Aura or Maybe Whirling Mace

Blazing aura > whirling mace > anything that isn't AE.
There are plenty of brutes that care for only single-target attacks, so feel free to consider my recommendation to be in the minority.
Blazing aura now, shatter at 26.
Fully agree with Dersk. The set rapidly becomes AoE centric in it's later levels and you can kill EB's and such just fine with Pulverize and Clobber as your only ST attacks.
I say you just grab a few more levels in game, and get all three, then tell us how you are enjoing them.

Alternate builds are also possible.
About to hit 24 on my Mace/Fire Armor Brute.
He's definitely a lot of fun, especially now that I have SOs and Stamina.
But which of the following powers would be a good choice to take over the others?
Right now I have Bash, Jawbreaker, and Clobber. I like the amount of damage that Pulverize is supposed to do, but Blazing Aura would get me a whole another damge type I could be dealing ... and Whirling Mace has AOE going for it...
So what sounds best for a Brute that's doing a lot of soloing?
