Lag on Infinity
I have been experiencing the same thing. I have noticed it gets worse when
A: we are running a lower level SF ie....Ice minstral or
B: when we have a team of 8 running regular contacts....
When I am running with a smaller team it is not occuring

This is exactly what I noticed. I was solo for most of the night and it was fine...then once I got onto a team and we hit 7 or 8 people...it became very bad, very fast.

Though what you guys are stating is like...completely normal and has never been abnormal, I am experiencing abnormal lag on infinity as well as several crashes a day.
I have a pretty fast computer and connection. I always run on highest graphics settings and rarely have a problem. While doing ITFs, the only place I even see a little bit of lag is during the second to last mission in that valley right before Romy.
These last few days I've been experiencing rubberbanding. Basically, characters run.. and then suddenly jump to another location because of the lag. I didn't really think anything of it until I was soloing a rather regular mission on Villainous. The least stressful situation the game could be in... and a few of my enemies rubberbanded. Either they're getting prepared for I15 and putting a little extra stress load on the server... or something's failing/broken.

hey this hasnt happend to me for probly two weeks but for a little while there I (and team) was getting thrown out of the ae mission entrance every now and then. When we would go to enter, some would crash at the load and some of us would load and then be thrown somewhere random in Cap. We had people zoning-in mid air, on roofs, or in the ae building. I was violently tossed from the ae portal a couple times even. It happend a few times and I never bugged it (thought it was cool/funny, and not a bug)but maybe I should have.
ITS ALL A NEMESIS(Positron) PLOT.
And yeah i've had the same issue as rock crag it sucks dunno why.
I have confirmed it happening on several other servers as well. It has aslo happened to me several times while soloing.
In addition to rubberbanding...enemies will do jerky movements even after they are dead. Sometimes even shifting position altogether.
I /bugged it last night...but since bug reports never really get a response...I have no idea if and when it will get looked at...something is up though.
MY GOD. THE LAG IS GETTING WORSE. DEVS NEED TO DO SOMETHING.
Okay, and Slashman has said it's affecting other servers. Plus, it's obviously not affecting everyone. As I replied in your other thread about this, I suspect it might be an ISP issue and restricted to a relatively small region, thus affecting only a small portion of the player base.

not sure if you've tried yet rock, but do a disc clean up, defrag and virus scan and reset your modem. might help a bit.
That or put a few more 8K SIPP modules in the server.

Ok...for the past few days there has been odd lag on Infinity. There are times when it isn't there...but last night, late, I was with a group of villains in Sharkhead and as we hit our second mission there was constant rubberbanding and hitching of enemy groups and delays in power activation.
This continued into the next mission as well, although it stopped for brief periods. Is there some technical reason that's been mentioned as to why this is happening? Or are we getting the standard new-issue lag early as way of a present to the communinty?
