I know this belongs somewhere else but I like you guys and well...there.

My new mouse has a tilt wheel on it. What button number is left tilt and right tilt? I think I could use this for more ranged AoE goodness.

But alas, I do not have a Fancy Schmancey mouse. But Local Man does.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Can't you go to the in game options, key binding, click something random to get into "set button mode" then hit the tilt button to see what it calls it?

My fancy-schmancy mouse (Logitech G-9) came with software to reassign the various buttons to keystrokes. The two standard mouse buttons are "lbutton" (or "button1") and "rbutton" (or "button2"). "button3" is when you press down the mousewheel. I have tilt-left assigned to "u" and tilt-right assigned to "o" using the software that came with the mouse. Then I have two other buttons reassigned to "h" and "i." Two buttons on the left side of the mouse work with binds as "button4" and "button5."

I have all my travel powers bound to the "h" key. I generally use Tilt-left, shift+tilt-left and ctrl+tilt-left for my primary powers that may need binds, and the other side for my secondary. Button4 is for heals and button5 is for whatever else I may need, often toggles that I want to be able to turn off and on quickly (Rooted on a Stone Tank, Hurricane on a Stormie, etc.)

So, check if your mouse manufacturer provides software to reassign those tiltwheel buttons.

LBUTTON left mouse button
RBUTTON right mouse button
MBUTTON middle mouse button (for some mice, the mouse wheel also acts as
a middle button)
BUTTON4 usually a thumb button
BUTTON5
BUTTON6
BUTTON7
BUTTON8
MOUSECHORD mouse chord key - both the left and right mouse buttons pressed at
the same time
MOUSEWHEEL This key only works with the "+camdistadjust" command

I found all these are valid. Just need to play with the buttons. once I get on, I'll tell you guys what mouse button the rtilt and ltilt is.

On previous mice, I tried using "buttonx" for 6, 7 and 8, but what I found was that the mouse had pre-set functions for those extra buttons, usually for web surfing. To use them, I needed software to reassign the buttons to keystrokes.

Confirmed. Downloaded the latest logitech drivers and assigned the tilt wheel 'u' and 'i'. Then I did /bind u XXXX and the tilt works.

So I now can place FR and Tornado with the mouse alone. woo.
