Howdy hon. How have you been? Long time, no see.
*waves*
Good morning peoples.
Feelin very drained this morning, so don't mind me if I'm not very talkative.
*presses button for coffee-flavored caffeine pills and dehydrated donut* Hmmm ... I think I don't like the breakfast of tomorrow much. I'll stick with my breakfast of today instead. *runs out to her car and drives to Dunkin' Donuts, picks up a few dozen iced coffees for everyone to share, and returns, setting them on the counter along with the magical box of infinite donuts* Enjoy.
*Snugs Em.*
Morning Emmi

I've been...learning to juggle, you could say. Between finances, work, Digital Eden, and the occasional bit of fun...well, I've learned to be creative in managing things, I'll have to say
It's not all been bad, just a bit stressful...I hope life's treating you better!
It was already set for tickle... Wait, you set it for MAXIMUM tickle. Emmi... talk before it's too late!
Heroes : Angrem (50 Stone tank), Exo Inferis (50 Fire blaster), Exo Proteus (50 ill/emp), IceVengance (50 cold defender)

It's progressing at the very least. Done with college for the summer, thank goodness. Kind of has left me at loose ends though...having a hard time finding things to occupy my time. Work hours are slashed back to next to nothing, but I'm thanking God that I do have a job.
Things could be worse, but they could be better too. Just livin' and lovin', I guess.
*blows a kiss to Fed and Tiger* hi boys
Oh m'noes, a tickling? What ever will I do? I know! *hides under the sofa in Becky's Fortress of Kitteh-tude*
'Fiances' plural, Froggy? You dog you...
And yes, I like Atlus' work myself. I was very excited for this game. And I don't mind the cutesy or magical stuff certainly. But for a game advertised about steampunk, I've only seen the cutesy and magical. You start with a 'steam tank' that you can fill up at a building in the town.. but no indication of what it's used for or anything like that. I wouldn't have even known it was there if I hadn't stumbled across it trying to find anybody who would give me anything to do.
I may be being harsh on the game since I only played for a couple of hours, but to be honest, there are hundreds and thousands of games out there. If you can't get people interested enough to play from the start, you're not going to keep people, no matter how cool it gets 10, 20 or 100 hours into the game. If it's not engaging right away you are going to lose a huge section of potential playerbase.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
*Aims carefully and then blasts Neko with the phaser set to maximum tickle, just to test it out.*
Heroes : Angrem (50 Stone tank), Exo Inferis (50 Fire blaster), Exo Proteus (50 ill/emp), IceVengance (50 cold defender)
Villains : AtomBomb (50 Rad/Kin corruptor), Aleks (50 SS/Inv brute), StoneLethal (50 EM/Stone brute), Davroz (50 Bots/Dark mastermind)
*blinks at the Fedor as the beam hits her with a ping*
Tickling is not logical. Sackperson attack on this unit will be met with wholly inappropriate overuse of force.
*transforms from a cute greeterbot into a gigantic warmech, bristling with dozens of rayguns, missle launchers and a gigantic nuke on her back*
Surrender and prepare to be vaporized, non-metallic one.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
Looooooook out, Neko!
Oh, nevermind. You seem to be impervious to that tickling attack. Carry on then.
*Looks at the innocent little tickle phaser and then at the Mecha Neko.*
This is so not fair... good thing I have my jetpack!
*And with that he wooshes into the air, nimbly dodging behind cover. Cover that looks remarkably like Emmi and LCT.*

Pogo, that statement is ssooooo quotable!
"I made a ham sandwich out of turkey meat." - Pogothulu
Imagine that in someone's signature line
*grabs the sandwich and takes a big bite*
Definatly needs mustard. And pickles.
*adds said condiments to the sandwich and hands it back*

*GIGANeko continues to rampage though downtown Rookery., knocking over model buildings and blasting everywhere with her overly dramatic energy weapons and missles. Reaching around behind, she palms the nuke and gets ready to toss it like a quarterback going for the long bomb when a regular sized NekoAli appears and whaps it on the nose with a rolled up paper*
Bad NekoBot! I sleep in late one day and you take over my identity and try to blow up the Rookery. Go back to your recharging station and think about what you've done! And no catnip robomouse for you tonight.
*putting the nuke away, GIGANeko shrinks back to normal form, pouting and slowly walkign off, dragging one foot though the rubble dejectedly*
Sorry folks. Robots, what can you do?
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?

Obviously make MORE gigantic destructo-kitteh bots.
*Pulls on a spare pair of Pogos lab goggles, unfortunately being a very small ninjafairykitty entire face fits behind one lens...this does not prevent evil mad sciency laughter...just muffles it a bit, and it comes out much more like "mew"*
@SoylentPlaid
I haz 87 Clouded Points
*yawn*
Hey guys. I love Summer. Let's ya get up at noon.
Yay Becky's here!
*smooches the Beckers and goes back to the hiding spot under the sofa*

Ahhh Neo Steam. Tried it. By the time I... oh started the game and made a character I was already SO VERY disappointed in it. It's not a steampunk game. It's a generically cutsety fantasy typcially eastern grindfest that was dropped in a vat of steampunk.
I made up a techno character, who is shown in this cool armor shooting a gun at people. I get dropped into the tutorial area where I'm tasked with killing the same nearly identical different kinds of round puffball non offensive critters with a dagger.... By the time I'm done with the tutorial stuff, I'm level 5. And nobody will give me any other quests to do until I'm level 10. The only thing I can do is continue to kill those same 3 different critters in the starting area who all share the same model.
Yeah, I uninstalled and didn't look back. It's not a steampunk game. It's a fantasy game they sprayed with some steampunk juice and hoped it stuck. I'll wait for Gatheryn, thanks.

That's disappointing to hear...I really like Atlus' work as a general rule, but I guess they screwed up big time on this one. I didn't really get the chance to look really deep into it...I just stumbled on the ad on one of my web comics, and thought of you guys
That whole level grind before you can get your first quest is irritating...I've seen it on too many games, sadly...I don't know who thinks that's a good design choice, but obviously someone does, or it wouldn't still be out there. *shrug* Maybe I just don't know what fun is
