I wish I had the choice of power or slots for the last 4

Yeah but its not a choice really. there all pointless lol, and belive me ive got no slots too spare for any of those last four.
epic pools aren't a choice either, I thought we were posting our druthers

But you get a choice from several epic pools tho...mean you do infact get a choice of which pools too take.
Nope we get no choice as you know yourself having a warshade.
I think I have a couple slots in my lvl41 power on both my PB and WS, but 44, 47, and 49 all are slotless and unused for the most part. Wouldn't make any difference if we had some sort of Ancillary pool either, still wouldn't have the slots to spare (unless of course the powers were just that good).
Though with a couple exceptions, most of the Ancillary/Patron pools on my other characters only have one well slotted power with a couple devoted to another. So its not really that much of a difference.
well, if you think about it some epic powerpools make one hell of a difference even without being slotted... Hibernate various resistance powers self heals snares, roots, targeting drones which add acc and your chance too see a stalker..all of these powers too name a few off the top of my head that make on massive difference too a fight withot even slotting them.
And having too slot the epic powers is where the specialisation comes in.
You know... having both PB and WS at Lv50, both TriFormers, I have to say that being a TriForm keeps me so busy when I play, and I have so many options with either of my Kheldians, that I've come to realize that yes, it'd be nice to get more powers for variety sake, but we're already slot-starved to the extreme, so I'll gladly take more slots instead of more powers.
However, with the introduction of IO's and IO Sets, the slot-starvation issue isn't as brutal as before and as more IO Sets get introduced things do get better.
Being able to slot both my single-target Nova attacks with Chance to Hold has made it even more fun to play even though I'm still slot-starved. 
I believe that a Kheldian Gold Standard should be based on SO's, and for anything above that... there's Platinum!

The last 4 powers I took for my Triform PB were Swift, Health, Stamina, and Super Speed, just a last little boost to my Human form. It was either that or Boxing, Tough, Weave, and Super Speed. Or maybe Provoke, Intimidate, Invoke Panic, and Pulsar, so I could have some extra control.
You can do a lot with four powers, as long as you dedicate a few slots to 'em.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't be a grammar nazi. I normally don't care about punctuation/spelling/grammar in general, but the wrong word thing bugs the hell out of me.
I had a boss that would say things like "For the pass couple weeks..." and it pained my ears. It wasn't an accent either, because I've seen emails where he's typed it!

Slot starvation is a good name for it. I used to call it "an enhancement slot deficiency" on good days, and "NOT ENOUGH F#$%^# SLOTS!" on the bad ones.

Even with a build like this one, assuming I had the funds and patience to put it together, I'd still feel slot-starved.

No doubt that there's a disparity between number of powers available vs. number of slots available.
However, the reason Kheldians don't have Ancillary Pools is because they've got more powers in their standard pools than other ATs. Like I said, it's a bit nonsenseical because most Kheldians (TriFormers in particular) don't have the slots to really enhance their last few power picks but you asked for the reason we don't get APPs so there ya go.
As a suggestion, try picking up the Medicine Pool. The only powers that really need any slots are Aid Other and Aid Self. Stimulant lets you hand out mezz protection and Resuscitate will make you even more valuable on teams. This is particularly true for Warshades since they can fall back, use Shadow Recall and then rez fallen team mates.

Ain't that the truth. Khelds are probably the most slot-starved ATs around. Ancillary pools would only make it worse.

On this note... You should try to solve it. It just makes you look lazy along with other people that use the same or worse grammar. No offense, but really... Too and To mean different things. At least you didn't use Two, now that would be funneh!
And no to the 1st OP. You have to pick and choose what to slot and what not to slot. I have a perfect balance with my PB and it works very well. Slight tanker/blaster/defender'ish.

Personally I fill up my power choices with some of the following:
Stealth
Invis other
Invis
Manuvers
Combat jumping
Along with combat flight/shadow cloak that gives me up to 6 free slots that can take LotG +rech or GotA +runspeed. Having plenty of +runspeed _really_ helps out my dwarf form, and everyone likes a load of global +rech.
So anyway.. ive finally got my lazy butt outta siren's call and leveled to 50 now one thing ive noticed about my peacebringer is that the last say 4 powers ive taken are pointless... im never going to use them execpt for a laugh and maybe the heal in a dangerous emergancy but as its not slotted there is not point ><.
Now this maybe because im trispecced but i have much the same problem on my duo specced form human/dwarf...Why don't khelds get an epic pool? i mean stop me by all means if im being retarded..but why not give them somthing like form masterys..that boost there respective forms alittle more if the choose to specialise in it.
Just for four examples i could think of here...human form mastery line, Dwarf form mastery line, Nova form mastery line and Triform mastery line, giving you things that improve each form respectively and triform increasing Each form by a small amount, now ive not really gotten any power ideas atm but ill think about it during the day and add some here later. feel free to yourself but try to be realistic, no i want dwarf form to make me harder than a tankers chin type powers.
You could even remove light form from the main pool and add it as an Human form epic... just a thought.. because for me that power is pratically uselss. alright it lets me survive but it cuts of all my other forms and i only have a few offensive moves from human.
