My either, but I do have two baby bunnies that I continue to pray are two little girls, like the breeder said.

On another strange note, squirrel DOES NOT taste like chicken!

Very true. As for rabbit...eh, I guess it kinda does, but also not really. Depends on the spices, I guess.

Just thought you should see that.

I'm sorry...

How did they get them to sit still enough to be counted up to 334?

Did they use a rabbit per square yard measurement?

Or... was the only way they were able to count them was to make them 'still'?

Father's side of the family comes from the 'farm country' of Kentucky. Not quite Hazard county, but definitely not big city folks, neither.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

I've had rabbit a total of once in my life, and it was a loooong time ago. The only thing I remember about it at all, was that they killed it using *buckshot* so you had to pick out all these pieces of shot... durrr. I'm assuming that people don't normally do that, where rabbits are typically considered a meal?

Such adorable, cute little baby bunnies. Who'd want to eat them?

Bunnies are not teh mealticket. So there.

While I was stationed in Germany, my parents, younger brother and sister and older brother came over for a vacation. We ended up on a driving trip from Frankfurt through Bavaria and Austria out to France and onto Ireland and England.

While we were in France, we went to a little place outside Versailles we ended up stopping at a little farm B&B called "L'Hare" or "The Hare" (weird French people).

In the afternoon we were sitting down at tables for lunch, and there were these big windows facing a courtyard. In which there were several rabbits running around.

My younger brother and sister were crouched at the window, tapping it and making 'cute' noises at the 'cute little bunnies'.

Comes time to order, my younger sister and brother are called to the table, and my older brother orders "Lapin" from the menu.

I am sitting there, at the table, looking out at the courtyard when this guy with a white apron comes out a side door and grabs one of the rabbits.

Food is served, and my older brother is enjoying his "Lapin" when my sister asks what it is...

I still torment her with that 30 years later.

Tasty fried critter.

Rabbit is one of the highest protein meats around and the density is much greater than any other domesticated meat crop. The Navy did a feasibility study on raising them on board ships to cut down on the transfer of food stuffs.

Plus they are mighty tasty. Nothing like Chicken, more like Elk.
