of your heroes i would focus on IOing your BS/Regen scrapper, you'll want the huge burst damage of broadsword, although the sonic/elec would be the next best choice for heroes
villains- of the villains u listed without a doubt ss/fire, reason being burst damage, decent survivability.
now if ur planning on teaming when pvping it changes a bit depending on your team make up...i'd say ur lvl 1 rad/sonic defender or ur lvl 1 rad/psy defender for heroes or for villains probably your ice/cold would work nicely shields help out plus huge debuffs and against stupid ppl and endless amount of endurance. but the kin would work well too but u'll want to kill ppl on your team so u dont have to apply speed boost so damn much.

Go on test, watch, learn, ask questions. Maybe get in a couple one on one matches just to get your feet wet and see how things operate differently. There's a pretty good chance that you'll lose, possibly frequently at first. Don't be discouraged. It happened to each one of us before we got better.

From the list of toons ya got there I would say easy toons to make bad habits on are the bs/regen and the ss/fire... melee self sufficent and solo decent. Tech a good place to start but it will limit you in the long run. If you want a challenge I would start with the son/elec blaster and the ice cold corr. Depends alot on your play style and how into it all you want to get.
Well i would say hero side your bs/regen or a rad/sonic or rad/psy defender(that you should make) then I would go with the Sonic/Elec blaster but respec into Sonic/Elec/Cold.
Villians-the SS/Fire brute and the Ice/Cold and Sonic/Kin corruptors.
Of course I am very biased on the Blaster/Defender/Corruptor toons and not a huge fan of lolMelee toons but from your list those would be the ones I focused on learning to PvP with.

Hey all. I've been with the game since launch and have only really pvped a handful of times, none of which has happened since all the new changes. I want to start getting into pvp, and although I think I'm quite good at and make some sick builds for pve, pvp is totally alien to me.
I want to pick one hero and one villain and get my feet wet. I'm hoping if I list the characters I have, maybe someone can give me some insight on which toons would be the best to use. I'm not opposed to hard work and practice, so I don't need something that is easy to use, but I want something that will be effective.
Heroes:
Sonic/Elec/Elec 50 blaster
Ice/Ice 50 Tank
Ice/Kin/Earth 50 Troller
BS/Regen 50 Scrapper
Kat/Wp 50 Scrapper
Shield/Fire/Pyre 50 Tank
I also have the following up and coming heroes:
Dark/Stone tank, MA/Fire scrapper, WS, PB, Rad/Arch defender
Villains:
Stone/Elec 50 brute
SS/Fire 50 brute
Axe/Wp 50 brute

Up and coming villains:

I'm looking more for RV as opposed to other zones, I enjoy playing at level 50. Looking at what I have to choose from, if I wanted to get into pvp now I'm assuming I might be better off with the Sonic/Elec/Elec blaster or one of my scrappers for heroes. Villains I'm assuming my Ice/Cold or Sonic/Kin corrupter would be good to use.
I'd like to be able to solo and team. Any advice would be appreciated.
