I took my dad, his girlfriend *grumbles*, and my sister out for dinner for Father's Day, and all went well.
OTOH there's $150 I won't ever be seeing again.... 
have you ever wondered why mothers day is in the middle of spring when the days and nights are almost equal, and fathers day is on the longest day?
Thought never crossed my mind but by giving me a bit I could come up with theories that would drive the women nuts and give dudes a laugh.

I was refering to the fact that this year my birthday falls on the same day as fathers day. but I think you may have missed that.
