Super Noob Question YAY
uuuh, did you get all of the zone exploration badges. and I do mean ALL of them? because if you did, while in SG mode, you should have it. . .
Are you asking where to find them in the base editor menu?
Under Arcane Transport or Tech Transport.
Otherwise, make sure you got all the exploration badges for the zone - while in SG mode - yes, this means you may have to go get them again if you weren't in SG mode the first time you got them.
Edit to make this even more superNewb friendly - note that the tabs for Transport beacons don't even show up in the menu unless you have your cursor in the transport room.

Ok that's what i thought I was asking about the badge and for some reason it didn't get me it so i need to make a new guy dang.
No need to make a new guy. Just go back through to all of the exploration badge locations in each zone. When you hit whichever one you're missing for that zone it will tell you that you've earned the beacon.

No, you don't. In order to get the teleport beacons, someone in the SG needs to visit each exploration badge in the zone while in SG mode.
- You don't have to have the same person visit each badge.
- You don't have to visit them in any specific period of time.
- It doesn't matter if the character already has that exploration badge.
Regarding the third item, the only downside is that, if you already have the badge, you don't get an immediate onscreen confirmation that it 'counts'. Just because you saw the badge and ran right over it does NOT mean it counted. Sometimes they take a few seconds to register. When visiting the badges for the beacons, on a character that already has the badge, make sure you see the badge and then stand RIGHT ON TOP IT for 10 seconds to be absolutely sure.

Also worth nothing to avoid another trip to the forums(learned this myself last night) is that the teleport pads (the actual device you click on to do the teleport) appears under PLACE PERSONAL ITEM, and not Teleport items. So to be crystal clear, you must make a teleport BEACON (for the link to the zone you wish to teleport to) and you must make a teleport PAD in order to actually use that beacon.
Paragonwiki, which could extrapolate the differences a bit better.

I understand your point, but you phrased this badly by using the word "make" both times.
You *BUY* the beacon from the item list for teleport rooms.
You *MAKE* the teleporter itself at a workbench or forge.

I could have sworn I had to craft the beacon. I was so confused by the time I started crafting my eyes were crossed.

You have to EARN the becon and then BUY the becon to place on your CRAFTED teliport pad.
I know fun isn't it.
Beacons themselves are not crafted. They just appear in your placeable items list once you get all the exploration badges in an area. They still cost money. Teleport pads themselves are crafted.
Beacons are not placed "in" a teleport pad, so to speak. They're wall items, and you put them on a wall in a TP room, and they "attach" to the nearest TP. Both the beacon and teleport pad outline boxes change from blue to yellow to show that pair is connected. It's pretty hard to miss.
