Henchmen not attacking vault doors
I'm running a Bots/FF MM and have a similar experience, but I found that when I give my bots a specific GoTo command and park them directly in front of the vault door, then issue a "My Target" command they open fire on the door every time.

Ok thanks. I'll have to try that. With that being said maybe it's a terrain issue that doesn't allow pets to target/attck door from a distance. Mybe due to the door being 'raised' off the floor?
Whatever the issue hopefully it still gets looked by the bug people

/This. Same thing has happened with some of my MMs.
Makes sense, the door itself isn't generating any aggro or has a non-existent threat value.

My bots minions behave the same way. I've come to accept it as intended, since otherwise my bots could prioritize a crate over a leiutenant.

I don't believe aggro or threat value is the issue. My henchmen attack cars, boxes, parking meters, fire hidrants, etc with no problem. It just seems to be the vault door that they just can't grasp attacking.

All of those can be targeted with Next Target, Nearest Target, etc. It seems that the vault door cannot be; in my experience, I have to actually click on it manually to get it to register. *Something* is different between it and nearly every other destructible object.
It's possible that the henchmen are using by default a next / nearest target routine that is similar to the PC one, and are therefore not recognizing the vault door as a target. Forcing them into a more explicit target mode (such as My Target) would, like clicking on it on a PC, skip that and give them the target directly, allowing it to work.

You need to bring your henchmen into clear view of the vault. The mayhem missions where you come around the corner to reach the vault sometimes borks the command unless the vault door is in full view of all henchmen. As previously said, use goto command to get them in the right place so that they attack.
Miuramir, this is not the case. (noy saying this doesn't happen as you describe, just not my experience). I have had the vault door targeted and gave the attack my target command and they do nothing.
I have also had my henchmen well within LOS of the door, as OmegaS stated might the issue, but still no luck. In last nights scenario the zombies were maybe 5'-6' directly in front of door with no obstructions.
I'll have to wait till I get home and place the idio... err zombies right next to (1' away from) the door using the GoTo command then give them the attack command as previously suggested.
Thank you all so far for the feeedback/suggestions. Much appreciated. Still hope the bug team looks at this though.
I will note that all of this behavior has gone on for MANY issues now, perhaps 2 years' worth? I don't know, but so long I don't actually remember it being different, and I was playing an MM since V-firstorsecond-wave-beta. It is VERY annoying. Have to drag the pets directly in front and close, THEN tell them /petcomall att agg
That it isn't even tabbable makes me agree, it's unique for some reason among targetable things.

I have two MM's and on both of them (one Necro, one Thugs) I have had problems with the henchmen not attacking vault doors in bank missions. A while back on my Thugs MM, with vault door targeted and giving the attack my target command the henchmen took on the 'attack mode' animation (changing stance and drawing weapons) but did not attack. Just last night on my Necro MM same scenario but my zombies just stood there. With Necro the Tier 2 henchman did use his gloom ranged attack on the door, but nothing from the zombies. Also, with pets set to attack door, even if they aren't they actually attacking anything, and they are in defensive mode (using "petcom_all Attack Defensive" command) when the guards come they will not defend me unless I command them too. They all seem intent on staring down the vault door to death.
Anyone else experiencing this bug? Or is this even a bug? I hope so because without pets attacking the door it takes an aweful long time for a MM to get it down.
