the thought has crossed my mind. (i'm not entirely without sympathy for the bidder.)
I've lost money on lots of "extra zero" bids, but fortunately for me, it wasn't *that* zero...

Oddly enough, most of my accidental losses have come from one too few zeroes, instead of one too many.

Most of my accidental losses have come from one too many zeros when posting a sell. Losing half a mil inf on a 2mil-profit item hurts.

What's sort of amusing there is that the market fee alone is on the order of market bid-O's that get people complain to their friends and on the forums.
