Lousy_Day has immunity, so I have to go with...

damn it's hard, but I really like Tacky_Tricky. Just so incredibly visually appealing. Made my eyes happy.

I had a hard time deciding between Tacky_Tricky's exquisite piece and Alex's. But Alex gets my vote not only because he chose one of my favorite artists but also that he added a theme with his characters dragging the artist towards the game, a situation I can relate to very much

Aprosaath - in large part because I was recreating that armor piece by piece in my mind looking at it.

Lousy Day was great too

I must apologise about my lack of an entry this month. To be honest, I haven't been around these forums that much lately, so this completly slipped my mind. School, for the most part, is the main factor.

Needless to say, I'm going to throw my vote out for Foo.

Good luck to the remaining contestants.

Projectionist's recreation of "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper

Nothing else came as close to being so simple and elegant as this. It was powerful and included a background piece as an important element of the picture, which is something unique to most of the art done here.

edit: Also, TOO MUCH TA! It's like he was running the thing or something... :3 Let's give other people a chance to be raised as a forum icon ...like me!

Really great pieces this month, a real change of pace from some of the last months. And all finished pieces too!

My vote is for Projectionist, I really love that painting, and you did a wonderful reimagining of it, true to the original and true to City of Heroes. And it is now my desktop background.

And if it counts, my wife (who always helps me decide, but shares my account) votes for Lousy Day, which was my second choice as well. I guess it really doesn't matter if it counts or not since Lousy has immunity, but what have you.

I vote for Projectionist. The thing is just...superb. Brilliant. All the little details...it's like looking at the original, if the artist had lived in the Rogue Isles.

Tacky_Tricky and imagesbyalex came in VERY CLOSE as second/third.
