A lot of players hate the no comment. I think if they give you anything lowre then a 3 star they must give a comment. And to make it easyer for the person giveing th comment have some auto so all they need to do is click one more button.

Solution? Since you JUST published it, unpublish and republish. It's rare the the same idiot will play your mission twice in a row.
True...possible though since I think they go through and look at the new arcs and just hit play, 1 star, quit. I think a good solution to this would be a required comment if you rate.

Am I only the only person in game that does not care what my arc receives as a star rating?
Constructive criticism is nice, and some of the suggestions have been well thought out. Not going to do them, but they were well thought out.
I'm more concerned when they just comment: "suk no frm".
Which I then petition as harassment.
Besides, since they are removing 90% of the badges come I15, it will give me more time to actually coalesce my story ideas into a mission set I'll publish.
Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.
So many problems with the rating system. Anonymous vs. retaliation rating; star-farmers; what appears to be an unenforced but sternly-worded anti-griefing policy; and just so many idiots, some of whom don't understand that PLAYERS DO NOT PROGRAM THE COMPUTER AI.
The only thing I wish the system had that would solve all of my issues with MA: Allow published arcs to be hidden from all other players.
Other than people who want to test their arcs without some idiot telling them that their arc is incomplete (which happened to me while I was unlocking stuff), that might not be a useful feature.

It's called the Test feature, and it's there for a reason. Use it.
And don't whine about "I don't get tickets in test mode". Testing an arc isn't meant to give you rewards, it's meant for TESTING.
If you still want your tickets, you'll have to deal with people low-balling you for publishing an unfinished arc.

What is the name of your arc and what is the arc #?
I don't think people being required to reply is a good thing. The DEVs are supposedly keeping track of players that are 1 starring a lot.
I don't know how good your arc was, so I can't judge at all.
If it was all "******" this, and "******" that. I would have 1 stared it.
I have an arc that no one has played, one that a couple people have played, and one about 20 or so have played.
I'm going to rotate arcs in and out as I finish more.
If you only made one mission, make another one.
The mission I posted 3rd has had the most plays, and it is the longest of my arcs. I honestly don't think that it is really any better than my first arc, though my first arc has an EB on the second mission while the third arc I wrote the EB is on the last mission.
I've heard it more than once in various creative fields.
Treat rejection letters as a badge of courage.
I've seen people that have done X better than you that never sold their work, but I've also seen people that were a lot worse than you that sold because they were persistent.
Don't get pissed. Make more arcs.
Practice makes perfect.
I don't know if it is a 1 star or a 5 star. I just hope that person voted how they honestly felt and didn't just can you for no reason.

It has absolutely nothing to do with low ratings and almost nothing to do with tickets, other than unlocking options to enjoy the different aspects of creating stories. I do have arcs that I play in test mode. The average on my arcs is four stars. It has entirely everything to do with dealing wth idiots, which is why I solo so much, why I despise getting spam from star farmers, and why I post in small spurts on the forum. I get fed up with responses like the above idiocy.
I don't care if other people play my arcs, but I like playing them. I like using them as an option to help advance my characters. I despise idiocy. I would never do something like that, but I think it might have been enjoyable to have been the one to ruin your cereal.
I don't recall making a self-serving announcement like this to the few people I have done this to but, welcome to ignore.

I've seen where things work in test mode, but mysteriously stop working when published. I have a mission in one arc that while live, one boss simply will not spawn. It spawns fine in test mode every time I quit to fix it.

I think he means that he doesn't care what you rate it as long as you leave feedback saying why you 1 starred it (or whatever). He wants the opportunity to improve it but he can't unless someone tells him why they rate it so low.

Question -- do people have to complete a story / arc to rate it? I do not engage in MA at this time due to the glut of true crap-o-la out there. Also, how often can you drop an arc and choose a new one?
I saw two jerks yesterday talking on one of the old protector channels (was it elite badge?) about if it was possible to rate other peoples stories as 1 stars, as many as possible, so their stories float to the top. But I can't remember if there were talking wishfully, or in actuality (missed some threads as I was fighting some COT hordes). I mean, would that even be possible???
Yeah...all you have to do is hit play, Architect Options in the nav window, rate it, then quit story. Then all you have to do is wash rinse and repeat through them.

As many times as you want. But you can only rate a ARC one time.
