Help with Grav/Psi Build

This is my current plan for my Grav/Psi dom. I'm fairly happy with the power selection, but would still like some feedback on it. For the record, I plan on fighting in melee range most of the time. The slotting has been the hard part for me. Any suggestions for powers or slotting will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm really going to have to agree with Daemo.

Gravity has been called the red headed stepchild of control sets, and /Psi assault is a very, very, VERY late bloomer. It's really not a good idea to put both of those together, but if you really want to keep this concept going well.. Good luck, you will need it.

I cannot comment on the sets as I have not played either very far. But a couple things to look and think about:

Fighting Pool?
I am not saying don't take it. A Toggle armor and attack. These are nice, but I think Medicine will work better in the long run.

Leadership Pool and No Fitness?
You have no IO sets for +End or +Recovery also no Fitness for +Recovery. The 3 Toggles here plus Tough will kill your Endurance.

I am not a fan of Fly. I can get a jet pack for flight. Since you already have Hasten go Super Speed. For Travel. But if you want ot keep flight/hover, you may want to go Mu so that the Mu Pet can follow you.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention the Hasten crash will effect your Endurance also.

Personally, I found my Grav/Psi to be a fun combo to play with and while I enjoy it, I probably wouldn't go that route again any time soon. I'm not overly well-versed in Dom play as much as I used to be when I was playing it more often, but I can at least give some slotting feedback:

1) END Reducs - A notable lack of them. Even with Domination giving you a full tank and even with DP giving you some breathing room, your number one END drain will be your attacks. And not a single one has even one. :/ At least that can be mostly handled via frankenslotting with IOs.

2) Toggle-madness - Wow. Looking at the build in Mids. You're sucking up about 1 EPS on just toggles. That's gonna eat into your offensive abilities a bit.

3) Slight Overslottings - A couple of them IMO:
Wormhole's slightly over done with ACC. Consider dropping the third in favor of either a Rech or a Stun?
Subdue for Immob? With your other abilities, this shouldn't be needed. Drop in favor of an ENDRed or DMG?

4) Assault - If you're dead set on the Leadership pool, I'd consider dropping Assault and picking up Veng. Assault's +DMG buff is kinda nice (and possibly nicer considering the possible base bump coming up), but it's really not that hot. Especially since you can easily get that much from IOs. At least with Veng you can turn your team into something really mean. Unless this is a soloist build?

I wouldn't respec right now.

You have no idea how Psi assault will play in a few weeks.
Wait till castle makes his changes. ( I am betting on it becoming a middle of the pack single target set ).

It looks like /psi is very possibly being rebalanced into a heavier hitting ST set. PSW will probably be scaled, way, way back. I honestly would wait till the new changes go live before investing huge amounts of time and IO's in a /Psi build of any sorts.

You may be safer going /Fire or /Thorns.

Note though I didn't say stop playing. Just it would be a shame to respec now, and have a new set in a few weeks and respec again...

keep leveling!

Thanks, I'll take into account all of your tips and re-do this build. Once I adjust it, I'll post it again. Thanks for your help.

Yes it is a difficult build to work up, but that's as far as I'll agree with the "DOOOOMM!!!!!!" reply you got right off the bat. I really haven't a lot of experience with Doms, but the only one that has actually interested me enough to stick with past level 20 has been a Grav/Psi. The replies warning you of how difficult it is as opposed to the other Dom Primary powersets are right on the money in that respect. I mean take a look at the alternatives: Fire does lots of damage along with good controls, Ice includes movement/recharge slow secondary effects that have the potential of locking down the targets even when the mez effects don't, Earth includes tons (pun intended) of defense debuffing in nearly every power, Mind just plain buries the enemy in more mez than most players know what to do with, and Plant, I don't honestly know a thing about Plant so I'm not even about to touch on it!

On the other hand, Grav's only secondary is a quite unextraordinary Fly detoggle effect that seems to have been added to a few powers only for conceptual purposes. Some of the powers in the set do pretty good damage, but it's all Smashing and there isn't enough to really put them above the other sets. But where Gravity Control finds it's strength is in the trademark Grav-unique abilities Dimension Shift, Wormhole, and Singularity. Dimension Shift is a TAoE enemy intangible ability that is useful if slotted right and reserved for appropriate occasions (NOT BEST USED ON TEAMS). Wormhole requires care, practice, and understanding to make effective use of, but once one takes the time to learn its use and learn it well, it WILL MAKE THE BUILD for you. And as for Singy, it's one of a control user's greatest dreams come true: a pet that is practically invincible and almost does your job for you while also taking the agro.

Lately I came across a guide thread started by Sir_Quixotic that is ALL ABOUT really good advice and insight on Grav/Psi Doms. I would HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you still want to run this build. And if you aren't interested in running the build anymore that's fine, as most of the posts above should pretty obviously show you: Grav/Psi Dom isn't for everyone.

This. It's hard mode for Dominators. If you want to mitigate for a team of 8, in my teens and 20s I did role reversal - Using Crushing Field + Procs for Damage and Psychic Scream for Mitigation (-50% Recharge is powerful). But seriously, Wormhole is overrated IMO - Singularity is the only reason I haven't deleted Altimus.
