Live Servers Down for Maintenance 5/20/09

All North American Live servers will be down for maintenance Wednesday 5/20/09

Expected downtime will be from 6am until 8am PST (9am until 11am EST)

YAY! Thanks for the confirmation. However since MA is a global service does it mean MA will be down? (Apart from the testing of arcs)

Just seem to recall somewhere that MA would be down when you guys have your maintenance (correct me if im wrong obviously).

For EU servers, the Mission Architect system, and the Hero/Villain Wentworth's/Black Market services will remain online during this maintenance.

edit : Changed text above to "EU servers" and not just "EU Players" who so happen to play on North American servers...

This has bothered me for years.

My first short story (detective fiction) came out in Jan-2012. Other stories and books to follow, I hope. Because of "real writing". COH was a big part of that happening.

The entire concept of DST is a bother. Get rid of the damn thing, and set the clock 1/2 hour back.

Actually, in the original posting, Pacific time had a 3 hour window, Eastern time had a 2 hour window. We're not really sure how the Eastern time compression worked, but we're pretty sure it was going to be painful someplace in St. Louis.

Pick one, pick the other, who care, just settle one one damn time system and STAY THERE.

There's been studies indicating that the time changes actually cause a heck of a lot more problems than they were supposed to solve and since we're no longer in World War I or II, I think it's long past time to lose those remnants.

The thing I always find amusing is "but it's for the farmers!" Actually, the farmers hate it. Cows don't have clocks, they don't care if it's 4:30 or 5:30, they want to get milked at the same relative time. It's a pain in the butt for the farmers, and THEY would like to stop being used as the excuse for not just picking a darn time and sticking with it (used to live in the middle-of-farming-nowhere, Wisconsin).
