Quick Stalker question.
Spines gets Impale at 18, which is very fun in every zone.
"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
Well if you plan scrapping it out, your only viable option on a stalker is a regen. Unfortunately down that low your going to need a ton of rech to compensate for lower hp and power than a scrapper. Meaning you best come purpled and lotg, and the new pvp io's, and i hope their not a tank because you won't kill one that low.
My reasoning is simple, since this new i14 pvp there are less viable builds, so everyone is a fotm tank or scrapper. Meaning you'll only see builds that have large hp and large damage thats all pvp is now, hp and damage button mash out.
Come with as many hp and damage you can muster and mash your keyboard until one of you dies. Spines is good for squishies and kiters, but a tank or scrapper not so much.
If your nemesis is a melee, your better served coming ss/fire brute to sirens they are pretty good that low. If they are a squishie then spines/reg will work to sit and fight and spines/wp for quik strikes.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

if you going up against a melee type i would suggest a /psi dom with drain psyche. This is one of the only villain power sets that guaranties its kills if played right, however, unlike all the button mashing and HP having ways of today's PvP, this build takes some skill and practice to play. If you can hold than land drain psyche on the scrapper, kite him for 30 sec and hit him with another drain psyche, you will have him dead in less than a minute unless he has a lot of catch of breaths. All the other builds kinda require a solid team to kill decent players. GLHF

I used to hate stalkers, but I am at my wits end and I think it might be time to consider making one. There are few loud, but very good, hero pvp toons that I would do anything to take down. So...
1. Are there any stalker pvp builds that are good at the BB, SC lvl? I am good at taking advice, and rolling toons that are supposedly pvp viable. I am finding, however, that they are good at high lvls of pvp, but don't do so well at the lvls I like to play at.
2. Is it possible to create a scrapper like stalker that can stand up and fight, or at least has a good chance of survival, after unhidden?
3. Can anyone suggest power pools that I may want to look into.
I know this sounds pathetic, but I am totally willing to do more research after being pointed in the right direction. I have never played a stalker before.

1. Dark Melee with an increase to Siphon life + build up is good at criting. Energy melee performs well in most cases. Spines is decent for ranged attacks right after a un-resisted assassin strike. Regen is good, WP is pretty good, Ninjitsu still performs well. All of those have a self heal, which is always helpful.
2. Yes and no. You are NOT a scrapper. You are a stealth class. You have a few scrappy moves to follow up from your initial strike, but you still drop HP much quicker then your Scrapper counterpart. Theoretically speaking, if you and a scrapper squared off, you both crit each other for 400, Your HP bar will sink MUCH further then his.
I have 2 shotted a stalker on my scrapper before. 2 Lucky crits in a row did the trick. You can double critical a scrapper and not kill him, especially if he has dull pain running. And this was because the stalker tried to straight up have a scrap with me.
So the answer is yes you can, up to a point... then No it's not a good idea to continue fighting on THEIR terms.
3. Pool powers or patron powers? Pool powers, go for SS/SJ or even Fly if you wish. Phase shift is preferable to many other pool powers. Mako's Patron power is recommended because you can also use Hibernate. Using those correctly means you probably won't ever get killed in a 1 on 1 again.
