With temps, yes. My MA/WP has taken down Jurassik and Adamastor while using pet temps and warburg nukes.
Without...doubtful. Maybe a fire/fire could get the Winter Lord with enough tweakage, though...hmm....

He is banking on winter lords significant weakness to fire damage with that thought. It adds a dimension to the question. Some builds will perform better or worse against certain GMs. But I can't see doing it without temps. The regen of most GMs is kinda high.
I got within a whisker of a Winter Lord 2 Winters ago, until a group came by and spoiled my attempt by 'helping' out.
So I know I can defeat a WL solo, I just haven't actually finished the job off.

Yeah, and obviously against a lowbie Winter Lord, so he had fewer HP (and regen) than a PI one.

Probably an old video from when Giant Monsters didn't scale and were wimps. I've duod the clockwork monster who's name eludes me right now with an Ice/Axe tanker and an Illusion/Storm controller at level 22 or something I think. It was a long time ago.

In case you're talking about my video of Sergei beating the Kronos Titan, that was in a mission where he spawns as a monster but with only AV hit points and regeneration. His 20% resistance and tendency to run in a timed mission made it difficult to kill him, but he wasn't particularly dangerous.

Yes, my BS/SD defeated the Kronos Titan in that mission, too. It's just an AV, and cons as one in the target window.
My BS/WP scrapper duo'ed with a blaster (NRG/NRG) against a Kronos back in issue 12 (FF GM version). We had great damage between us, but the blaster took several dirt naps. No temps, no pets, but I did use some inspirations here and there. Given the fact we had no additional buffs, I was surprised.
Of course, I have no vids or pics as I was not expecting to be a god that day. It just happened. My build was not purpled out at the time, but I had lots of unique procs and other IOs including the achilles procs at that time. Anyway, no evidence, but I am happy knowing it happened.
I have seen some rad/son defenders and /rad trollers solo GM's. Even today, it is not common.
I think the tough part of the GM's for scrappers is that some attacks do DoT that is significant after getting a huge hit but still surviving it. Willpower with the right accolades and a few IO bonuses can max out hitpoints which in turns makes a regen rate more effective. so before taking on the GM's, make sure you have a way to deal with the alpha strike and can survive any immediate follow-up damage. In otherwords, besides hitting defense cap, maximizing resistance, maxing hitpoints and regen rate if you can, you also need increase your recharge rate, and make sure you have enough endurance for the long haul.
So, you need IOs and you need to shake your moneymaker to get em.

my dm/inv took out Kracken back in like i3 or 4 so it dont really count but it happened!!
heh i th ink a lot of us solo'd the kraken during issues 1-3 on our scrappers

I soloed Adamastor in DA, no temps (maybe an inspiration or two) on my DM/Regen
