Can we get Pics of the "Going Rogue" Video chars?

As long as it comes with some Dual Pistols, and maybe a Pistol/Blade combo, they can butcher it to their heart's content.
The girl's name is Desdemona. I was rooting for "Gothzilla" myself, so I give myself kudos for being close.
The guy's name is Maelstrom. I imagine his backstory is: His heart was removed and replaced with the power of pure angst. Also, room for more pistol ammo. He makes me laugh (in a good way. He's such a perfect minion. :3 )
... so, some actual pictures / backstory would be nifty. It'll come in time though, if we're patient. The Devs can't release any information yet or Marketing'll kill them.

Probably the former though it's disappointing they didn't double check that first. Then again since Desdemona can be an actual name, it's a mildly understandable mistake.
Given that she's a demon summoner, the name Desdemona may in fact, make some kind of sense.

Agreed, Aisynia. I think they should change the Broker to something else... it's not like she matters. Perhaps: Mona the Glint, Dalia the Glint, or perhaps just Diamond?
Or, even just leave it as-is so the Devs can write a "Copyright infringement" arc at some point...

Why? Desdemona the Glint has been in CoV since launch. If there was all of a sudden a metallic blue armored character added to the game, should it be called Blue Steel? Or maybe that guy that just stands there should have his name changed to "Shield Guy" because it makes sense for the new character to keep the name because it is Blue.

Like SpaceNut is unique. Perhaps I could put the G_ in front like I do elsewhere. I can say this, on these Forums, there is only ONE. On each server each name is unique and cannot be duplicated, so looking at it that way, each one of my characters has an uncommon name.

Because she's a useless broker with little to no in game lore?
In any case "Desdemona" is an actual name, not a superhero alias. Two people can possess it without the world grinding to a halt.
Or they could just have the new Desdemona burn the old one to death with her demons before she has a change of heart

I love this game and generally like what the Devs do with it.
But one thing they have never really been very good at is making sure not to reuse names they have used before. Case in point throughout the history of the game they have "double-named" 5 or 6 different new badges with the exact same names as they used for older badges. In all those instances they have had to rename the new one to make it unique. 
I'm not entirely sure either NPC name needs to be changed in this case but ultimately I think the Devs really need to start being much more careful about this sort of thing. Perhaps they should make it a policy to do a name check on Paragonwiki everytime they design a brand new major character.

You know sometimes to be "cute and fancy" some people spell the word 'demon' as 'daemon'. Perhaps they could just quietly rename the new character 'Desdaemona' before the whole thing becomes too much more official.

I'm not calling you indignant.
I would say though that it is a bit illogical to rename a character that is part of a promo of an upcoming expansion on which the game's future hangs over renaming a broker most people probably wouldn't have even remembered before you brought her up. Heck, 50% of people playing through that area end up with the other broker and never even see her.
If the double names thing is a bit of an issue, just call the old one "The Glint" and call it a day. Sounds pretty catchy actually.

Yeah even though I'd usually favor the older character over the new in a case of "identical names" like this I think you have to take into account the overall importance of the characters. Basically put I think a main "poster character" of the upcoming major expansion of the game probably is more important than a mere redside broker character.
Renaming the old contact to just "The Glint" seems like a reasonable alternative.
Her detailed info could even still say her given name is Desdemona, but her 'street name' is just "The Glint".

That's actually a novel idea. Since Desdemona is a real "normal" name it can't be trademarked. A simple respelling might allow this which would be good for CoX though I doubt anyone would be so blatant as to directly copy the character.
Or they could just officially give her a last name in order to differentiate the two.

Since they already aren't the same since one has "The Glint" added to it and IS a different name because of it then it becomes particular pointless and a waste of anyones time let alone worry (or hope as the case may be).

Those are obsurd examples.
Desdemona =/= Blue Steel.
Blue Steel is responsible for the formation of a significant villain... Desdoma, stands there and looks go actually, she doesn't even look good.
