The servers are down for maintenance. The had an in game notification.

When did the servers go down? I'm still on infinity server working on one of my missions. Yes right now.
They went down about 10 minutes ago...

They're removing MA. This'll fix the base issues along with the chat bugs.
They arnt removing MA
not only removing MA, but also removing any character past lvl 1, and adding the new feature for additional levels you have to buy LvL Booster Packs from NcSoft for $9.99/level you want.
i noticed a good chunk of the chat bugs are gone.
Like the missing of global channel chats when zoning, and the one where when you have a key bind for a certain channel to chat in, that letter shows up, that no longer is occuring either.
just noticed it today... so it could of been fixed with the latest patch.

Neither of those is gone. I expereinced both today, and I saw other people getting the character spam in their chats.

Are the servers still down?
Earlier today the server status page said "Down" for all of them, and I got the usual "login server may not be available" message from the COH client.
Currently, I can log in and see all my characters, but any attempt to enter the game with one says that my account name is currently not allowed on the server. The server status page says "Unknown".
That's weird.
