PvP i13 forward

yeah i understand all of this, which is why when people scream foul i tell them its a zone get over it. If you want 1vs1 go to arena, which has a more controlled environment.

I originnaly thought you were talking about jsut plainly running away when things went sour, and i apologize for perceiving this. Yes in a zone you have to use tactics especially if your 1vs 8. zone is team play and "ganking" (another rediculous term in zones) is always gonna happen.

Like i said i thought you ment just plainly running away, but i see now that you didnt. I just dont agree with people running away, like when they are about to die hurrying up back to the base to leave the zone. I totally agree that npc's are apart of zones and apart of your team. Now if only we can get them to work within i13 rules instead of the old ones then zones would be more "balanced" so to say.

Agreed make the npcs holds only last 2 seconds to you know instead on what seems like a minute. And a minute of standing still in a zone usually equals your death.

No problem, blaze. I hate running too, and pre-I13, running arguably was a problem, and was too easy. It was pretty easy to get away from pretty much any fight...all you had to do was want it, and you could avoid almost any fight.

Which is why the PvP community suggested things like suppression for melee attacks on melee AT's. It would have made melee more useful, without giving yet another advantage to ranged classes. Instead, they completely ignored that advice, and just added suppression to absolutely everything in the game. So now melee is still laughable compared to range....AND the game is crap compared to before.

But at least the devs are happy, right? Who cares what the actual customers think?

[/ QUOTE ]This about sums it up, and to me it doesn't make sense. When we were all in I13 beta, way before any of this stuff took place i can't remember anyone that liked the changes that were their. So a consumer friendly entity would have adjusted their tactics, knowing full well if they got such negative feedback from the sample of people their if it releases it will surely fail.

So they ignore us, drop it anyway and guess what? more ppl cried about it. The negative feed back was one of the largest threads on the forum, versus the possitive feedback which was amung the shortest. Months and month later we are still crying foul and the devs refuse to admit the mistake and make claims of success.

Even lost revenue, due to ppl quitting doesn't budge them, and they can't say it was no loses i personally know of 8 ppl off my villain ladder team that quit. And they all had multiple accounts they ran. We even gave ideas to save face like make i13/14 arena options or make i12 an arena option. That way everyone wins, they win they get to keep their frankenpvp, we the player wins we can have more fun in pvp than now.

You just can't have pve and pvp so different and expect it to work, even the npc's in zone don't like dr and the new changes that's why they follow the old rules.

The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

sry made me lol

On serious note, i can't understand it either, i would only guess that rolling back would be too troublesome, stoping development of the game, blah blah and simply admiting the mistake but it is just a guess.

I say the only way that us as pvp'rs can move forward is for us to stop looking at the past and instead try and figure out the future. Like end said the devs are not going to roll it back. We know this by now. It would be moving backwards and I don't know any development team (and compnay) that would admit they are wrong when something bad happens.

The only thing I can think of is we can try and make suggestions for i13/14 and upcoming issues to improve this system. Maybe just maybe if we are civil with our request they will listen to us this time. all that has been hapening lately is everyone saying this is bad let's go back to i12. That's not going to happen.

It may be wasted breath, but its the only thing I see that could maybe help out. You would think even if they won't admit they are wrong about i13 that they would learn from there mistakes about not listening and would take some of our ideas about upcoming issues better then they did in i13 beta. But like in anything we have to be civil in request to be able to get anything done and drop what happened back then.

Who knows it might work or it might be wasted breath. But we don't know if we try and this is the only way I see anything happening.

After asking the PvP community to make a PvP wish list with ways to improve PvP just to totally ignore it and run with what they thought was best makes me seriously doubt they care about anything the PvPers have to say.

It's ok, guys, we're going to be implementing some of your suggestions in the next patch!

And we're totally doing something exactly like what TribalHavok suggested for Travel Suppression.

"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict

Yeah, no [censored] man. When I read the transcript of an interview with Posi and he basically said "Pvp 2.0 is better than pvp 1.0 and we like it", I wanted to kill a kitten and a dog at the same time.

Poor animals...
Since devs "don't listen" lets write to customer support from NCSOFT/Paragon Studio (w/e) and complain about incompetent people they hire lol
