I think the costume lacks constrast. Since her skin is so dark, perhaps go a lighter color. I'd be trying to match the blue in your costume to a shade similar to your Ice Sword.

I know the point of this game is to have our own awesome mary sues to flaunt, but what? Their love making destroyed Atlantis? o.O
That needs to be explained properly or else I'm going to chalk it up to uncontrolled self fangasm.
As far as the outfit goes, the color choices have a lot to be desired. The blues are too similar and they compete against each other without having any contrast, the outfit blue is too saturate so it clashes with her hair and she could really use a tertiary color to break up the monotony of the form.
I would suggest to you that you lighten the skintone by at least one shade, darken the outfit blue by one or two shades and make her gloves match Sinferna's by making them white.
You will think me to be overly mean and you will be right. But as an artist, I can tell you that what's been presented so far leaves me with *no* desire to do anything with her at all. There will be others who think the same, yet are not frank enough with you to say it.

The idea is that they were smitten with each other from the moment they first laid eyes upon each other, but Atlantean society forbid their love due to Ice being a foreigner and Sin being one of their top scientists. They finally succumb to their passion and when Ice "gets there", she has such a powerful reaction that she flash freezes the entire city. Sin follows soon after and instantly melts all the ice, flooding and sinking the city.

[/ QUOTE ]Not really. It was just an opinion. I thought he was going for a whole "she's made of ice and so is her costume" thing, but you could be correct, too.
Thanks Foo. Yep, you're right! That's the look I was going for. But hey, if I were going for something outside of the "hey, she's got an ice costume" thing....I'd totally agree with her feedback!
I tried to go for the 'blue skin' with Bitter December, but it didn't work out. Suichiro's right, it does need more contrast between the skin and the costume, even if they're the same basic hue.
I'd actually second the recommendation of getting the costume portion as close as you can to the ice sword coloring. Of course, if it looks crappy, you can always back out of the Costume editor...
as for the "we saw, we came, we froze/melted/sunk the city"... next time, PPV event please?

Hey everyone! Buckeye Star got me jonesing to make a female alt. So, here she is!!! Her name is Ice-Heart. she's the daughter of an Asgardian frost giantess who was exiled from Asgard because of a "forbidden" affair with an Atlantian scientist (Buckeye's character Sinferna!) It turns out their love-making was responsible for the sinking of Atlantis thousands of years ago! Ice-Heart is a Magic Ice/Ice Blaster.
Anyway, let me know what your thoughts are!!!!
BTW, any of you artists that want to use Ice-Heart for inspiration...I'd be honored!!!!!!
