Listen [censored]. It's convenient to the playerbase. These MFing Cryptic MFers made an architect system. Can they not make a mailbox? Look.

[/ QUOTE ]Hey, they may do it. The rest of their game seems to be "Things found in the CoH suggestions forum", why not this?

Actually since the OP has told us his suggestion if for Cryptics super hero game and not NCSoft's City of Heroes, I have to admit it has a better chance of being implemented. The best time for Cryptic to put a maibox system into CO is before the game is released.
Absolutely!
Great suggestion. This is something the game has needed for a long time. I'm sick and tired of relying on someone else to do what I should be able to do on my own with my own stuff (pithy enough reason?).
Don't mind the trolls in the suggestion forum. They always say "no" to good ideas. In fact, the more they complain, the better your idea probably is.
Interesting logic there. If they vehemently disagree then you have a great idea, if they agree then you have a great idea. I like this, nothing anybody says can ever be stupid or worthless.
50s: Anaxagoras - En/En/For Blaster, Vicious Kittie - Claws/SR Scrapper, Rad. Therapy - Emp/Rad/For Defender, Anaximander - En/En/Mu Brute, Marble Vanguard - Stone/EM Tanker
Current: Vitriolic - 42 Bots/Poison MM, Aseity - 38 DB/WP Scrapper, Tai Shar - 42 Earth/Storm

You can already transfer wealth between characters. You just have to be willing to either have them in the same SG (doing it via expensive enhancements/salvage) or be willing to pay a 10% fee (doing it via the Market).
If you could mail goods back and forth between characters, would you be willing to accept a transfer fee or 'postage' of some sort in return for 99-100% safety of the transfer going through correctly? I would fully expect such a fee, based on the other Inf-sinks in the game. (Why else would costume changes, for example, not be free, other than to be an $Inf-sink)

[/ QUOTE ] The trolls in here are few. Bad ideas are met with criticism, both the polite and constructive type and the unfortunately unpolite type.
Labelling broad groups of people (such as "anyone who disagrees with X Suggestion") would be negative and perhaps "trollish" behavior, if I may use such a term.
I have to disagree with your last Paragraph, POrk.
ALL Ideas are met with criticisms. Good bad or indifferent. Why? Because an idea can almost always be improved in some manner to include another aspect the progenitor of the idea/suggestion did not take into account.
Thus making the idea Better, on most accounts. As evidence: Look into my Vigilantes as a Third Designation discussion to see how a bad idea (open world PvP) can be altered into an acceptable suggestion (specific ATs that start neither in the Rogue Isles Or Paragon but whom may travel to both), and finally become a more widely accepted suggestion through discussion and addition to the core concept.
The Forums work best when multiple views come together without pointless dissent.

You are correct.
I am a fan of disecting an idea with the intent to make it better.
And yes, pointless dissent is not productive.

We need a mailbox, stat!
For transferring inf., salvage, enhancements, tickets, etc. to characters on your own account or other characters and friends ingame. It's rediculous having to trust someone else you may not know with your stuff. And it sucks when you play solo a lot. You ain't got time to do all the arrangements for 9,999,999 one trade at a time to some stranger just to hope and pray he doesn't take your lo0tz.
We need this fast. Like tomorrow, maybe? (wishful thinking)

Ok. For all of you who want to "email ingame items to myself", I give you a challenge.
Come up with a VALID reason as to WHY you should be allowed to mail emails to myself by following these rules:
(1) Refrain from using OTHER MMOs as a source of reference.
(2) The reason(s) MUST be in paragraph form. None of the following will be allowed:
(a) Because it would be cool.
(b) Because we need it.
(c) Because I'm bored.
(Invalid reasons)
(3) Spell check and sentence structure is important. (Remember you're trying to convince the majority of players WHY this feature is needed. Please, sound out the word(s) before you type them.)
(4) Your statements MUST be based on FACT and NOT the rantings of a 5 year old that just wants and wants and wants.
(5) Your reason(s) must FIX the issues rather than create new ones
So, there you have it. Lets see what you've got.

I did that earlier this month, and you didn't have any response other than "I wasn't the author. I gave credit to the creator. I simply think it's funny, and can be used for many different suggestions." (My response is quoted in that post.)
Use you own advice.
