It's not a big deal.
If they let us skip useless powers in other Power Pools like Medicine, Leadership or Fitness then it would be a big deal.

In 60 months of playtime...you too can get a flapjack staff and a travel at level 6.
I only plan on taking that perk on 1 toon...on liberty for teleport without a recall/tp foe.
Even if I could skip CJ and Hasten, I'd never skip them. CJ is a great IO mule and Hasten, well, need I say more?
i could see taking fly at 49 if im not already full on pools for some reason, otherwise this is just a convenience for people who dont wanna pl the 1st 20 levels.
I will definitely take full advantage of this. CJ is a throwaway power for me, since I can't afford IO's. It will let me take one extra power by sirens level, which will be very nice.
I have been playing pretty hardcore for about a year now so it would take 5 more years for me to get that, if this game will exist that long. So to have a disadvantage for 5 years sux pretty bad.
I thought about doing this for one of my Flying characters for PvP... but Air Superiority is just too good in PvP. So is Hover for my ranged characters. Frankly, I'm torn.

This.
Skipping ONE extra power doesn't do much for people, especially since most travel "pre-req's" are so helpful anyways. I couldn't imagine ever skipping CJ or Hasten. Both Hover and Air Sup are valuable pre-req's for many people looking to take Fly anyways, so you can't really skip those. TP-Foe even has a number of uses, as does TP-Friend. I think the TP pool has the most "skippable" pre-req for pvp though, but seriously...when was the last time TP was every all that hot in pvp anyways...?
So no, I don't think the 60 month vet reward will do ANYTHING to "break" pvp in this game. It'll be about as helpful as the buff pets are in zones lol so no worries
