just checked over my MA's ( i admidt nether are gonna win any awards ). i noticed one has received 2 votes and is 5 stars ( kewl , and thanks ). but i see it has a complaint on it that says

*MMEnterReport

Whats that mean ?
would it have to do with an email i got from a player saying an object was bug'd ( behind a wall in last room and couldn't get to it ) guese i'll have to edit the mission then anyway.

Probably someone inadvertantly hit the "report this arc" button.

That button looks WAY too much like a "Cancel" button, which people might hit if they don't want to submit a comment, or want to close the screen if they hit the button in the nav bar in the middle of an arc.

How do complaints get cleared? When you edit and republish? Never?

And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

Mine has precisely the same sort of complaint (*MMEnterReport), but I've received no emails or tells about it.

It's not a very helpful button!

Just ignore it. Unless you get multiple complaints from different players (and probably not unless you get dozens of them) you won't be getting in any sort of trouble.

Plus, players can't see the complaints. Only you and the moderators can.

One of my missions (the freak out) got dinged for "Content Violation (Describe Below)", whatever that means, and "Obvious farming mission with lots of buffers", which makes no sense since there isn't a single ally in the thing and everything in there can kill you hard.

Talk to them and explain what you're trying to do and why it's not actually a farming mission. They're erring on the side of caution in banning farming missions; I had one of mine (you can guess which from the titles below) banned for a short time tonight because I included some text that I meant to be funny, but that made it sound like I was encouraging people to farm it.

It's an entertaining mission, but the mix of mobs, to me at least, makes it far from a farm. I just described it badly, in an attempt to get people to play it. I was able to work with the GMs quickly and efficiently to sort it out.

A GM hasn't actually contacted me yet -- this was just a player complaint that got tagged on my mission. It doesn't give the name of the person who complained, either, so there's nobody to explain it to.

If one does buzz me, though, I think it'll be patently obvious it's not a farming mission. All the enemies are custom, they all kill the hell out of you, there are no allies, and there's TONS of dialogue.

If you've gotten a complaint that included the word "farm," and your arc hasn't been banninated, it's likely that a GM already looked at it and agrees with your assessment.

Depending on their work load, there's a threshold to complaints. If you have 50 ratings and only one player flags it, it will probably never get a GMs notice (depending on the flag). If 10 people flag it, then you've just become required reading for a GM.
