Advent aftermath

I'm working from time to time on the sketches I made last december. I probably wont able to turn everyone of them into a finished piece, but here is at least one:

I totally missed the fact that he had a third eye in the original sketch.

I can't say how much I love this. Frankly, I loved the 'sketch' and never expected more. This is just so polished. I think of it as 'Up Against the Wall.' Love the lighting and the gold of the wall. Thank you so much for taking it to another level

oh wow! holy snap man! I remember you said after you did the original sketch you weren't happy and wanted to work on it but damn man. Not only does it have a pose that I never would have thought of or expected and ya really made it pop with the colors. I like the little details like the gunstrap as well.

What tutorials were you checking out at conceptart and what were you experimenting with on this piece?

My favorite demos so far are Noxizmad's 'Final Illustration' and Chan's 'Dream Devourer', both are amazingly fun to watch. I just bought Brachna's 'Environment Design' so I hopefully get some inspiration to making backgrounds also in my pictures
