I decided to go ahead and make myself a thread in which to post new pieces I get as they come in. Two new ones came my way recently:

Thank you very much! The collection's a little anemic, but I like to think that the quality makes up for the lack of quantity. Hopefully I'll be able to add more top-notch work soon.

I figured it'd be better to just update this thread instead of starting a new one for every character I have. Anywho...here's my first Judge Midnight commission, by MatiasSoto. Great price, great art.

I'll almost certainly be looking to get this colored at some point, too.

Incredible pencils! That looks gorgeous.

While it's still in black and white, the face in a circle in the background looks a bit like a thought bubble for the unfortunate Vampyr in the foreground. Like he's thinking, "Oh boy, the wife is gonna kill me for this."

The hapless victim also captures really well how the Council are so dang tall.

Ha, that does look a little like a Mrs. Nosferatu being all pissed back home.

There are some things in this pic which look...off, to anyone who has a passing familiarity with the Council and/or 5th Column. Like, "wait, isn't Nosferatu with the Council now?" (in the pic, he's rocking his 5th Column look, and those are actually 5th Column soldiers in the back), and "what the heck is that logo on his shoulder?" Those seeming discrepancies will be addressed once the piece is colored and lettered (it's meant to be a cover of sorts; and, of course, a callback to another famous shield-bearer's 1st ish).

One-fisted superheroic beating up pseudo-Nazi vampire action! What's not to like? Looking forward to the full-color rendition.

Love the latest piece against the Column. Truly epic!

Another new piece, this time by Reginaldo Vicente.

There are a few differences here from how the Judge "normally" looks, but I actually dig that; I (sometimes) like when artists don't stick to the traditional/usual design.

Yeah, I like to allow the artists some liberties but then again you don't want them totally reinventing the character so that they're no longer recognizable as yours.
