Storm Devil vs ... a lot of bald guys
I'm a big fan of the Storm Devil look, you did a great job with it Juggy.

I heartily agree (and thanks Mr. A!). I was a little bummed when Juggs lost his files, but I'm sure he was even more upset. So I had consigned myself to waiting until after the New Year for the piece, the concept of which I was really excited to see put in action. Waking up to find it already done today was an excellent early Christmas gift.
Might give this one a title...like, "What Aggro Cap?", or something.
Thanks again Juggertha, I'm blown away!
I'm really glad you like it SD. A while back I had come across this picture and this one (sorry Bayani) and thought more about how color and composition can play into a piece.
I'm tempted to do more black and white stuff after this.
Thats awesome.
Wait.
Thats uber awesome-o.
Love the composition and concept and, heck, the whole piece!

Like I said, I'll get an even hotter/better version done in the future. =P Next time I'm not sharing any of my other plans for commissions.
Epic with extra freem!

Awesome...
It's unfortunate that you had problems motivating yourself to get this piece done. I guess you're starting to mature a bit, and a bit away from comic-book fantasy, huh Juggy? It happens.
wow... the instant I saw all those baddies on the left and SD on the right the first thing I thought of was the New Avengers cover with Elektra and her horde of Hand descending on Ronin, that's cool to see that was the inspiration.

Ah, just to be kind of clear on that - the reason I needed to get my mind back in gear was because I had completely finished the pencils when I lost my comp hard drive.
I had a clear vision of the piece in my head from the get-go, but it was hard to do all of those hours of lines over again (both mentally and physically).
I don't even want to imagine having to redraw. My computer crashed at one point and I lost all of the writing I had been too stupid not to back up.
Some of you might have heard that my comp HD bit the dust a week or so back. I lost a lot of good files and projects I was working on... andthis was one of them. I had already drawn this out once, and after it was gone, it took me a week or more to get my psyche back in the right frame to be able to draw it again.
I think this turned out pretty well though.
