Hey Chill, nice art on your DA, always nice to see another DA brat.

Tell me is it weird that i'm more interested in what witty banter you post next more then any picture?

not that i'd be opposed to a pic but i know i missed the deadline.

Kinda supprised that TA and Rowr the resident art whores missed out though....

[/ QUOTE ]

TA got the first free pic. If you look at the beginning of the thread, you can see I was planning to do several freebies and then introduce myself (ta-daa!), but he found out before I finished doing more than his pic. So... I pulled the trigger early and offered the freebies up for grabs.

I appreciate you noticing the witty banter. I just became a Journeyman Banterist and hope to work up to a full tradeskill in Banter within the next year or two. It's hard work crafting all those witty retorts, but frankly I'll do anything to get those Girl Scouts off my back. With their delicious cookies and their noble causes, they really just never give a guy a break. Well... the restraining order helped, but ...

... wait. What were we talking about?

You should switd to LoTRO the trand skill is much frendlier and you can share your witty banter with Professional Wize Crackers. They need some of the components you can collect to increase their Crack Wize level and in turn you can get rare witt components

Is it too late to enter this? I couldn't find if it was or not in the past few pages...

I'd like to enter my main, Shade Nefarious, if not! He comes in two flavors:

Robed Form

Monstrous Form

Thanks either way, and good luck!

I am a total fan of the LoTR world, but I tried LoTRO and was not very satisfied. In order to slake my bloodlust outside of tights, I play Age of Conan. I do thank you kindly, however, for your invite.

Bonus: Rutabaga. It's just a funny word.

Sadly, The_Red, I closed the floodgates about mid-way down page 5. As cool as Shade looks, I'm not accepting any more freebies right now, as I have plenty to keep me busy for many weeks to come, but I will be doing something after that, so keep checking this thread for new, exciting Chillkiller offers! Now with less TransFat and no artificial flavors!

Wait....this was a concern before? *ponders if somewhere, artists are licking original artwork that tastes like artificial grapes*

Ring Wraiths and Pie Contests are awesome, no question there. But I like my sword slinging (outside of CoX) to be a bit more brutal. I also really like Conan. That's pretty much all it boils down to. I have no hate for LoTRO, I just have more love (and a subscription) for AoC. But if that ever changes, I'll certainly let you know.

Thanks for the bump, Roguemoon. I've been busy finishing up the holidays and a picture for a friend. I haven't forgotten my last two free sketches, but everything I've put on paper thusfar has not passed my own high standards. More updates to follow. Thanks for keeping the faith.

Thanks for the faith. I have time tonight, so I'm sitting down to be artsy. Darn that RL for getting in my way.

Perhaps now you'll understand my "not bad but slow" warning.

Page 4? Man, I have to get faster on the draw...

Ok, Sketch 4 of 5... Look up in the sky, it's Eris Kai.

Keep the hope alive, everyone. I'm still pluggin away.

Oh that's just cool man, as I said on dA, you got that smirk down Thanks very much!

You're quite welcome, Kai! Thanks for your patience. I'm thrilled you enjoy it.

Awesome! And yeah, that smile totally defines the feel of the pic!

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks. Sometimes those things work out better than you could ever plan them to.

Thanks for the kind words.

That's really awesome. Love the inking on Eris

Thanks, Roguemoon and Toolloot! That's 4 of 5 for the promised freebies. Assuming my "free time" doesn't all evaporate, I'll finish up the last of the promised 5 soon and start scribbling out the rest of the freebies.

As an aside, I was running around Victory on one of my eponymous lower level alt toons, soaking in the 2xXP, I swear I saw Storm Devil in the Steel Canyon Library making something. I was going to say hello after I grabbed my mission from the other room, but when I returned, he was gone!

Heh... That was pretty cool, being able to say to myself... "Hey! I know that guy!"

As soon as I said that, I got contacted by my Age of Conan peeps to help design a new guild logo. I asked if it could be in spandex and after a resounding throttling, I was given proper instructions. That's what I've been working on and hope to be done soon so I can fix up Schroedinger's Cat with his art.
