Yeah... I've been in the middle of some real life work stuff. There's a big project that has been occupying pretty much all of my time sans sleeping and reminding my family who I am. I have not forgotten, though. And soon my engine of overwhelming guilt will force me to finish.

Fear not! all of those who have already forgotten me!

Wow. I really wish I had the time or speed to do this. I guess I'll just have to follow along in my storybook. Best of luck to all the competitors!

As soon as I said that, I got contacted by my Age of Conan peeps to help design a new guild logo. I asked if it could be in spandex and after a resounding throttling, I was given proper instructions. That's what I've been working on and hope to be done soon so I can fix up Schroedinger's Cat with his art.

No, nothing was said about taking money or definately signing up for commissions. Halfway down page 2 after being asked, States did say that contacting the brother would be difficult at best to even inquire about commissions.

I think the biggest concern by many of the artists and art lovers is someone taking credit for designing a character that is not theirs and attributing artwork to someone other than the original artist. I'm no high profile artist, but I think I'd be a little upset if someone "borrowed" any of my images for their use without at least asking me (or at the very least crediting me).

I know I'm the new fish in the pond, but I'm inclined to agree with Bayani. My Chillkill-sense smells trouble.

As an aside, I was running around Victory on one of my eponymous lower level alt toons, soaking in the 2xXP, I swear I saw Storm Devil in the Steel Canyon Library making something. I was going to say hello after I grabbed my mission from the other room, but when I returned, he was gone!

Heh... That was pretty cool, being able to say to myself... "Hey! I know that guy!"

Thanks for the bump, Roguemoon. I've been busy finishing up the holidays and a picture for a friend. I haven't forgotten my last two free sketches, but everything I've put on paper thusfar has not passed my own high standards. More updates to follow. Thanks for keeping the faith.

Ok. I'll throw in my stuff since I'm trying to keep my exposure up. I can't expect Chillkiller Inc. stock to rise without more exposure.

Thankfully my stats are easy to read, since I just started posting my stuff in September.

* Most Faved: Ironically, a non-CoH piece called "Where wolf?" has the most favorites. I see those crazy DA fans love the lycanthropes. I should post up my series of were-lemmings.

* Most Commented: My first completed sketch for the blueboards here, Baron Winter gets the most comments.

* Most Anticipated: I don't have any commissioned art or fan art, so I'm not really anticipating anything... I should post up some of my own characters. Maybe someone will take pity on me.

* Biggest Surprise: I found out there are no Girl Scouts in Girl Scout cookies! Yeah! I mean, is that deceptive advertising or what?!?!

* Best Example of Two-Click Rule: Um... Nothing posted. I don't really have anything in my non-posted stash anyway, but I'm not opposed to drawing the occassional Genus Baeolophus, Black-crested Titmouse. <- That's code for bewbies!

*2008 Closeout: Squeaked this one in under the wire for the new year: Scott McCade, Sidekick Extraordinaire. It had been lingering in the rough stage for months, but after working on stuff here, I got inspired and finished it up right before the 2009 hit.

Ring Wraiths and Pie Contests are awesome, no question there. But I like my sword slinging (outside of CoX) to be a bit more brutal. I also really like Conan. That's pretty much all it boils down to. I have no hate for LoTRO, I just have more love (and a subscription) for AoC. But if that ever changes, I'll certainly let you know.

TA got the first free pic. If you look at the beginning of the thread, you can see I was planning to do several freebies and then introduce myself (ta-daa!), but he found out before I finished doing more than his pic. So... I pulled the trigger early and offered the freebies up for grabs.

I appreciate you noticing the witty banter. I just became a Journeyman Banterist and hope to work up to a full tradeskill in Banter within the next year or two. It's hard work crafting all those witty retorts, but frankly I'll do anything to get those Girl Scouts off my back. With their delicious cookies and their noble causes, they really just never give a guy a break. Well... the restraining order helped, but ...

I have a new rough in my sketches bin, hopefully on track for a new sketchbook drawing by Friday. Also planning on throwing up a quickie non-CoX sketch I did while visiting the inlaws for dinner one night this week.

I was actually going for an eagle claw looking grip, but they work either way. grrrr!

I don't play here as much as I used to. I'm kind of stuck on Age of Conan for the most part, but I do have one regular night where I meet up with friends who still play and any off night where I'm just feeling like wearing my tights.

I will say that my free sketches have made me long to meet some of you guys in game. I have chars on pretty much every server, including a signature character on each server to reserve the name, but surprisingly none of my lvl 50s are any of my Chillkiller characters (1 red, 11 blues).

I started off on Freedom, still have most of my highest level characters there, with Champion and Triumph not far behind.

I did make a new sword/shield scrapper on Justice just because I thought I noticed most of you with toons there.
