That's a cool look! My only observation is that, IMO, the shoulder pads seems a bit large-ish. I'm thinking the other version of them may not stick up as much, and might fit better to my eye. I think it's that they seem to stick up too high for my tastes. But it's a nice look!

I agree with that observation.
Those shoulder pads don't have two versions though I don't think. They are the Enforcer set, not the Vangaurd. I played around with those as well during creation but in the end I favored this. I do agree that they scale up a bit much on the huge model though. =)
I think my only complaint is that the first look seems more like he should be Super Strength. But, that's not a complaint so much as an observation, and I can see it being equally :awesome: with War Mace (Especially the Rularuu Hammer! Do they have a Talsorian one yet, though? Idle curiosity, that).
Very nice look, all the same! It has a bit more color variation then I tend to use, but it's pulled off very well.

No, sadly BABs has stated that Talsorian weapons are only for the Lethal sets.

I like both names, although I do wonder why you didn't roll an alt, instead. With the kind of Influence Powerforge had (and is capable of generating as a 50), you can make an alt's life significantly easier by supplying it with any IOs it needs. It's not like getting to 22ish is any great hardship, and having a sugar daddy makes it all the easier, even solo.

It was just a desire to reinvent an existing hero. I do have many alts I enjoy but I guess I really just wanted to jump back in the game with my best, yet different. 
It really happened when I decided to grab the Rularuu hammer. After I got that I started playing around at Icon and all of a sudden I had this "Herald of Galactus" look going on. Well I liked it too much to drop and figured WTH.
Yeah! I ran the ITF last night with my New old favorite, the New and Improved Godbreaker! With his new and more cooler super look! All Super looking and stuff!
It was great till the end. You know. The part where the "Costume pieces unloccked" message flashes across the screen....
Lolwut? Costume pieces? ...hehe.. I just made a super sweet costume goodness thingy with Kraft Mac and Cheez.... Well I guess I could go see... It can't hurt really. I mean.....

That's a GORGEOUS look. Very "godlike" without really leaning toward any one mythology. I'm just stunned that you were able to pull it off with the CoH costume items! Not that they are bad at all, but they can be fairly specific when they are not purposefully bland and non-threatening from a design standpoint. That's why I love it when a player pulls off an original with style. And you have done that!
Man, I'm just floored. I even like the biggie shoulderpads for this look.

That nifty hammer's looking a bit Soul Edge ish. Perhaps you don't have to give up the name Hammerforge, at least in spirit.
Perhaps the hammer is semi-sentient, and is a weapon so ancient, and has passed through so many ages and civilizations that it's true origins was lost. In every setting it appears, it is a harbinger of great conflict and war, and it seeks out a steward both well meaned to untether its power and well placed to leverage against the final crux. In the remnants of which, the hammer disappears again.
Perhaps, one day while Hammerforge was walking home from a D&D 4.0 campaign session, Godbreaker appeared to him, and he took up the challenge. He's only scratched the surface so far of what he and the hammer can do, but he's trying to learn quickly (and the hammer is trying to influence him) to best prepare for the great revolution undoubtedly coming...

Well, the origin of Godbreaker is penned! The best part of going with the roman costume pieces is that it fits with his original origin. Back when he was known as Hammerforge.
This story has been kicking around in my head for over a year now. I finally got it down but it did take on a mind of it's own. If any of yo creative folks would like to read it I started a thread in the RP section.

Well, I took a bit of an extended absence. After playing CoH for over two years I guess I really needed a bit of a break. I returned to the land of Azeroth and tread the snow capped peaks of Cimmeria but in the end... Well, in the end I am a hero at heart I guess. =)
I just wanted to drop by and say hello. This was without a doubt the best of the boards in a great community to begin with and I truly have missed you guys.
Having been gone for almost 6 months I wanted to reinvent my favorite hero as a way to bring some new magic to the game.
If you guys remember me much I really love the creation process, and while I am not really a roleplayer so much, part of that creation is knowing where your hero comes from.
Hammerforge was by far my most powerful character, with a 500 mil build when I left he felt truly epic. Able to take down three full level 54 spawns in the War Zone. War Mace and Willpower is a staggering mix if you have the funds =D.
So annyywaaayyy. I wanted to share his new look and name with you guys. A long time ago I rolled a hero named Godbreaker and while I never really grew attached to MA/Reg so much, I loved the name. I went ahead and renamed Hammerforge and redisgned his look and really like it! Now I just need to come up with a new Origin story. He looks a bit Celestial-ish.
Any ideas? I would love to hear them =)
