Gametrailer Team-Up (Saturday the 16th)

Hey Guys and Gals,

This is where we'll discuss Saturday's Gametrailer Team-up.

Right now there are two ideas on the table:

1) Meet up on Test Server and do a TF.

2) Create new toons and our own team and Meet up on Virtue. -- which will last for the duration of Saturday or The Contest or longer.

If we went the New Toon route I was thinking of a FILM or TV theme. Like maybe we're all on some Superhero Reality TV Show. Or we're all really actors in a Superhero movie turned real like "Galaxy Quest" or "Tropic Thunder. But maybe that's too much.


Ideas, thoughts?

I'll be on the Test server for any TF but Imperious. Can't do an ITF because the third mission with all the mobs lags me a lot and disconnects me. I like the LGTF a lot so that'd be my choice, but any of them is fine; the Mender Silos TF is short, has a great final mission, and people don't run it enough on Live because of the "no recipe reward" thing.

I've never done the LGTF so I'm always up for that - I can arrange to be on either with Johanna (who's on John's account), or, if someone on Justice (or willing to hang out longer on Test) can help me get Agent Tavarisch to 50 (she's lvl 39 - my grav/kin troller) I'll be happy to bring her (since she's on MY account).

This should rock - the videographers go on a TF.

And I still need to finish my videographers movie, ESPECIALLY now that the machinima contest is over! I need to double-check who sent me footage of their characters...

My highest toon is lvl 30 -- Fly-By Knight. Can he hang?

I'd be up for that, if I can make it. I have a good range of characters to choose so pretty much anything is fair game for me.

I don't care which TF we do. 8's lvl 30, so he'll need a sk.

As an either/or, I'm also up for the 'create new toons' somewhere...just not Justice or Liberty I'm outta slots there.

so we have a 30, a 30, a 39 and a few 50's it looks like.

We could do a Ernesto Hess tf in striga or do the new toons idea.

I'd be game for either.

EDIT: and if we do the new character thing, I thing our sg should be named the Camera Crew.

Hess sounds good, I can start it on the doc.

I'm gonna make a toon and a team and team costume --i'll use FLYBY for that -- and present it to you guys tonight and see what ya think. I like "The Camera Crew" or maybe "The First Unit."


Possible names for toons:

Freeze-Frame
Smash-Shot
Montage

LOL - The version of Star Dancer on Virtue (the only toon I have on Virtue, actually) is below level 10...

Test server sounds good to me - this is for fun not for xp.

Lady Grey TF would be great fun but I think you have to be 35 just to get into the zone.

Ouroborus would be fun, too, but you'll have to pick hero or villain.

Or we could just have at it in Warburg. Muuuhahahahaa!

We'll show those pvp'ers how a real video is made!

I certainly do! I used that method extensively in the beta test Rikti invasion.

I would be up for option 2.

My toons include a lvl 50 healer, 41 pb, 21 blaster and a 21 MM.

That is what follows the 2nd option in the very first post.

Maybe we should pick a lowish lvl (say 20-30) TF/SF from each side to run?

Like, maybe, Hess and Renault (Sharkhead)?

TF on Test - primarily because I've never been fond of playing on Virtue.
