After a few seconds, she blinked and began massaging her temples as she shut her eyes tight. The 'connection' was broken.
"Unfortunately I can only make it work while I have eye contact with someone, and it hurts if I do it for very long. I just broke my record right there. Changing the way someone perceives something doesn't really work if they can't see it without looking away from my eyes and breaking the connection. I guess it's kind of like being able to turn invisible only when people aren't looking," she chuckled.

From a door near one of the bigger pools at the bow of the ship, a rather odd looking girl emerged. A couple of the other tourists turned and stared at her before commenting on her appearance to their friends. Alyssa paid them no attention, she was used to the odd looks. Having green skin and leaves for hair tended to attract them, and she'd been like this for a fair while now. She looked around, breathing deeply and taking in the sunlight before strolling off in the direction of the changing rooms beside the pool.
Discarding the sleeveless jacket and short leather skirt she'd been wearing in favor of a green swimsuit the same shade as the leaves on her head, she emerged a minute later and ambled over to the side of the pool before smoothly diving in. As she started swimming lengths of the pool it was obvious to anyone who cared enough to look that she was an excellent swimmer. In fact she'd been on the university swim team back before the Devouring Earth kidnapped her, but that was long gone now. Alyssa dismissed the thought from her mind and continued swimming, even if she wasn't allowed to compete anymore she still enjoyed it and that was enough for her.

Cute and Forceful, Im impressed. But I hope you brought more than your fists. Odettes eyes sparkle and all of a sudden there are quite a dozen of her standing in a neat little V pattern in front of David. She and the clones begin to twirl about each other until its impossible to tell which is which. A voice speaks as if its whispering right next to his ear, those fists wont protect your fragile mind from my games. Now Acid stood even more puzzled than before. What was this guy, why did he feel half-baked, and who was this John Ballard he referred to?
"You have a...?" Hotaka began, absent-mindedly pointing a finger at the odd individual, but the Khelari's shrug preempted the completion of his question.
"Mmmaaybe." Acid drew out, eyes shifting to and fro as he cursed his shoddy memory once more. Seriously, with just three around, logic should've dictated that he remembered things extremely well right now. Unfortunately, as always when it came to the tenuous relationship between the reptilian and what made sense, things first came differently and second than one thought.
Before things could go on in that direction, however, the heads of both Hotaka and the Khelari jerked about to an upper corner of the cabin. Though the towering man's partially hidden visage made it hard to tell, Acid's predatory appearance gave the distinct expression that he'd caught scent of something - something he either didn't like, or found highly interesting...or both.
"Excuse us." Hotaka told White Masque as this curious character named John Ballard did not arrive within the next few moments.
"We'll get back to you on that." Acid finished the sentence, then wrapped his fingers about the robed man's hand to establish physical contact, and jumped without hesitation, the vacuoles their teleportation had left behind collapsing with the distinct clap of rushing air...

Raiden was surprised by the woman's power. He had to use his blade to deflect the sound of her voice. "Roar Blue Dragon!" He cried as he slashed downwards with a blast of energy cutting the sound wave in two. Raiden landed on his feet but the sound wave had cut into him. His arm was bleeding, but he was by no means out of this.
Having tired of swimming lengths Alyssa floated on her back in the pool, not moving at all and entirely at peace with the world. However someone as impatient as her could only do that for so long before becoming bored, so she climbed out of the pool and went back to the changing room to retrieve her clothes. Slipping her jacket back on as she came out, she decided to go explore the ship. After all she'd been here a week and still only knew where a few things were.
Picking a door at random she wandered off. At one point she heard what sounded like a woman screaming, but dismissed it as probably someone's tv with the volume set higher than it should be. Eventually, many nondescript corridors later, she came to a club. Poking her head inside she noticed the arena equipment set up to one side. Aright! Nothing beats watching metas beat seven shades of crap out of each other! Lifting herself off the ground with a cushion of air she floated over to the bar to get herself a beer, then to the arena to watch the fight. She considered summoning a hurricane inside the cage to make the fight more 'interesting' but decided against it because she'd only just got here and didn't want to get herself thrown out until she'd gotten herself significantly more drunk than she was at the moment.

John had stood back and simply watched the ordeal from a little ways behind. He was a pretty nice guy, sure, but White didn't seem to be in too much pain, and it was a funny situation, and funny always came before keeping up appearances.
When the distinctive popping noise occured, he jumped slightly, his snickers quickly descending into small coughs. He then adjusted himself, and ran forward, acting as if he was completely worn out.
"Just missed them!" he yelled, snapping his fingers. "Darn. I was fighting a ninja- You don't see him any more because he's gone, but he was there- And so I was delayed in getting here."

"No no." the towering man calmly waved the notion off, "I'm fine. Really. I've...started to come to terms with it."
The Khelari nodded respectfully as he turned back to eye the pitched battle a few decks below. The veranda they watched from lay a few floors above, covered in nearly complete darkness. The stars of night above and a few deck lights below provided the only means of illumination with the veranda's own lights extinguished.
"Besides," Hotaka went on with a sinister chuckle, "it seems we're already much too late, and it would be oh so rude to interrupt after things get hectic enough, wouldn't it now? So how about we just sit back, relax, and let things run their course?"
Acid merely shrugged. Yeah, he didn't have much of a problem with that...

In a delicate song, Gabriella sends a howl of notes meant to rip apart Odette and her assailant and after the amplification she had performed, they were definitely going to kill Odette in her unconscious state.
I will deal with you bo- Gabriellas eyes wander towards the a clock on one of the upper decks in her view and she is overcome with a look of panic. Looking back down, you can keep her; she is no use to me anymore! Gabriella sings one final time and vanishes, as if carried away by her final echo.

Raiden
Raiden jumped in front of the sound wave to protect David and Odette. "AHHH!!" He screamed with great pain as the sound wave ripped through his body launching him into the railing. He stood up revealing that he was indeed a Regen. His wounds were closing up rapidly, but the damage was done. Raiden was exhausted and his enemy had escaped. He turned to David. "Take of her. I am going to try to chase after the other one and find out what the hell is going on." And with that Raiden disappeared to the shadows once more.

David slung Odette over his shoulder and sped off. Raiden should be able to take of himself for right now. I need to heal her and myself. I hope she has the answers to this... David took her back to his room where he laid her down on his bed. "I hope this helps." David cast a minor healing spell (Medicine Power Set) and waiting to see if would help her.

Odette Stays patiently in her invisible form ready to emit a blinding flash from her eyes. Gabriella, (the more experienced of the two) knows theyre in for at least some kind of fight so she makes sure to stay in character hoping to gain at least a preemptive strike. She sits in a defeated position crying softly, someone please help waiting for David to return. Fortunately, it was late and not a lot of people were wandering about the deck at this hour. In fact Odette was actually getting excited because she knew that if a fight did break out, there would be no civilian interference to worry about. Neither of them expected him to go after a figure in the distance, but they knew he would be back eventually to help them inside.
