A vid about the videographers! Who wants in?

I've started work on a new video about all the fun hoops we jump through in bringing our creative visions to life! And unlike a lot of my videos that focus on the players, this time I'm focusing on the videographers.

So...

To folks like Zloth and Leandro and Mr. Abyss and all the rest who make videos, if you've got a character that you associate with your filming persona (like Johanna Sinclair is my filming alter ego on every server), please nab a /demorecord of your primary filming character, and send a copy of the demo file to josinclair AT samuraiko DOT com and I will do my best to get you into this one.

This one is all about fun - there is NOTHING serious in this video (trust me when I say that I'm slaying some sacred cows here), but I really think it's a riot.

Well, *I* think it's funny. Either the devs will love it... or they will invoke Dev Fiat and kill my characters on sight.

Hee, sounds fun . My usual "camera person" doesn't get much actual screentime so I'll have to dig around a bit for something good. And if there's anything specific you'd like me to do I'm sure I can figure something out .

Nope, like I said - more concerned with getting the democode of your character so I can have him/her/it running around Paragon City and the Rogue Isles in spectacularly disruptive fashion.

Me? MAKE movies? What, are you nuts? Those things are HARD! I just make some quicky tools and hope to get my name up in lights from time to time.

If you've got the demo edit program, you've actually got my character (in old school definition, sans sliders and all that). Save off any character with the edit program and it will create a demo file. Look in the demo and you'll see he's in there.

Also, I think I uploaded demo files from the wedding event to W00tStudios. I've got Zloth in there. You might find some other folks' costumes, too.

Ah, gotcha. I thought you were collecting clips to compile, but you just need character info? That's easy enough.

Oh that's right, I do have you in the wedding footage I shot, Zloth. Okay cool. Chalk up another cheerful proponent of chaos in the video!

In light of the recent Machinima Contest, I am bringing this thread forward again, since now I REALLY want to finish this video.

I can't remember who sent me their characters and who hasn't, so... for those of you who want to have your primary 'filming' toon show up in my video, please post your character's democode in this thread for me. This way it's all in one place. (I know the original post says to email it to me, and I will look again there to see if I can find them, but having them in the thread would be a huge help.)
