Thanks StarGeek! I'll be going through this once I check some of them on Test, and see if there's anything borked with Traps and Assault Rifle.

Once again, I don't have anyone high enough with the Dark Mastery pool, so before I respec to try this out, can anyone confirm these?

* Web Grenade reduces targets' movement speed and accepts slow enhancements, but does not accept slow IO sets.
* Force Field Generator summons a flying pet but cannot be targeted in mid-air.

And echoing an issue I had with Cold Domination>Infrigidate:

* Web Grenade's non-stacking slows grant targets a moment of freedom from Web Grenade's slows whenever the power is reapplied. Targets can move and recharge dramatically faster during this period.

Edit: At some point in the last year, this issue has been fixed. The Info screen now shows the correct time on the hold.


Here's one I didn't find through searching.

Sonic Resonance Liquefy. The Info screen says it's about a 30 second mag 2 hold. On the enhancement screen, it says its 4.4 sec hold. It definitely doesn't last 30 seconds.

Good thing I have two posts at the start of this thread, cause I think I may have to break this list in two soon.

Anyway, I'll be adding a section for Power Customization bugs to each set, so if you guys know of any issues, please start posting those, too.

For example, this is what I have for Traps in that section:

  • When choosing the Color Tintable theme for Poison Trap, the gas summoned by the trap is not actually the custom color chosen. No matter what color is selected, the gas cloud summoned is blue.
  • When choosing the Color Tintable theme for Triage Beacon, the glowing rings are not actually the custom color chosen. The color seems to 'mix' with a green/grey color, rather than taking on the actual color. For example, choosing a red color for both color selections will result in a mustard yellow Triage Beacon, while choosing a blue color will result in a turqoise Triage Beacon.

A little bit of a strange one but Traps- Forcefield Generator will sometimes blow up a second after summoning if you've just entered a mission.

Is it possible your level was changing at some point after entering or just before? Pets die as soon as your level drops below their level.

  • The Freezing Rain pet summoned by Defenders debuffs resistance better than the Freezing Rain pet summoned by the other archetypes, but the Defender version doesn't debuff defense better.

Traps' tier 9 power is probably the most useless tier 9 in the entire game. The 8 seconds of interruptable time to drop combined with the 15 seconds waiting around for every mob to die while the team is already in the 30s is a VERY outdated concept.

Time Bomb should be exempt from the cottage rule but if it needs to stay then cut those numbers in half at least. I would prefer Gun Drone over it.

Dual Pistols

Quality of Life

  • Power info for Dual Pistols powers displays the info for standard ammunition only. There's no in-game way to see the effects of powers when using cold, fire, or toxic bullets.
  • When using standard ammunition, two lines of Dual Pistols combat messages for lethal damage are shown. The spam can be reduced by combining all the standard ammunition lethal damage into one line, then making the other line of lethal damage for cold, fire, or toxic bullets only.

  • The secondary effect of Pistols (defense debuff) is removed when changing to fire, cold, or toxic ammo, but no replacement secondary effect is added. This results in Pistols having no secondary effect when using fire, cold, or toxic ammo.

Isn't the secondary effect just the +dot for fire, -dmg for toxic, and slow for cold?



*I'm not positive on the toxic, but off memory I thought that's what it had, and cold may or may not have -rech as well I believe.

Storm Summoning

  • Summoning Freezing Rain directly beneath yourself, while hovering away from the ground, causes the raindrops animation to be displaced to one side. (The ice slick animation and debuff/damage power effects are placed correctly. Hovering or standing at ground level does not have this result.)

Issues Affecting Multiple Sets

  • Regeneration debuff powers use the Res Boolean table in PvP, but the Ones table in PvE. This results in defenders being better at regeneration debuffs in PvP but not in PvE. This affects Twilight Grasp, Transfusion, Lingering Radiation, and Benumb. (Howling Twilight uses the Ones table in both PvP and PvE.)

Dark Miasma

Balance Issues
  • Defender Twilight Grasp summons the same healing Twilight as corruptor Twilight Grasp. This results in defenders and corruptors healing for the same amount with Twilight Grasp.
