City of X filks on video!

Hey, everyone. I recently uploaded some of my videos, and included in these were two performances of City of X filks: "Beat Up the Scum" and "Personal Archvillain". I thought you'd get a kick out of 'em.

Oh, no no no! Please don't be embarassed! These are just vids of my live performances. I would still love to work on an "MTV" style video with you, whenever you're ready. No hurry, honest. I know you're busy, and that this is a hobby for you. Waiting is not a problem for me.

The only bad thing about this one is that I don't see it listed on the CDs for sale, so I can't buy it!

Well, there's two reasons for that...one is that we (I and my friend Allison) just wrote it a month or two ago, and the other is that I can't sell it without a) a license agreement from the artist's publisher and b) permission from the copyright holder. I could get both of those (and in fact am planning to at some point), but haven't yet. It takes a while.

The good news is, Allison and I are planning on releasing an album of our filk and uber-geek material (tentative title Parody Error) some time before the end of the year. I'll try to keep the boards informed of exactly when, but if you want to be sure to find out, you should sign up for my monthly music newsletter at my website (http://music.ebenbrooks.com/ ).
