It has been a while, but I haven't forgotten, and picked back up where I left off.

Annie Mayhem in the flesh...er, Sketch?

Check her Out. I'm super-pleased with how this one turned out. Machina, if you spot it, let me know what you think?

Annie Mayhem, lounging in her Lair after a successful bank heist.

Annie Mayhem is a slight Asian grrl, pink hair up in twin buns. Her specialties are recreational chemstry and gunplay, usually using her twin automatics, which she keeps well maintained. She dresses in a mix of punk, biker, and 'otaku', in black and red. )

That turned out really great, John. I can't wait to see her colored. (From the looks of her leg, she's all ready 'inked'.) Nice job.

Updated Annie Mayhem

Went through and Updated the file from deviantart for the previous submission of Annie Mayhem. She is now clean lines and a smoother version overall of the upload. Take a look.

Okay then, I'll bite. For your consideration:


He stared the stare that would not end, and his eyes cast dreadful longing to the eyeless sockets of the human skull within in his claws, even through the opaque visor of his helmet. He'd not moved the thing in years, having no desire to lay eyes upon the face that once was real. Its metal may no have covered the artificial skin of his lower jaw, ending just before the horns of the draconian's head, but even with that synthetic hide stretching its tiny scales down his neck in the originals' hue, at least the helmet veiled the face of the machine.

For this he had become, so very long ago, the wingless dragon's body now entirely of metal and machine, only cold, blank armor where warm, feeling flesh had once brought such sensation. He felt as the burnt-out husks of once grand towers, their rusted skeletons moaning harshly skyward in woeful silence at the vistas of their former facades, now no more than mounds of rubble like that he perched on. Starving flames still flickered weakly here and there, feebly feeding on what sparse fuel they found, including the bleached bones of the humans not much smaller than he.

With a heavy heart, he gave the skull over to the flames, to let the cycle of life begin anew...at least for those whom it did not deny. Perhaps one day, he would rejoin it - but first, the machines would need to breathe their last. They'd claimed so very many; and not solely humans.

And as he watched the skull char within the flames, the impossible came to pass once more. A tear ran from beneath his helmet...


Aiight, hope I didn't get too carried away there. I tried to leave the details ambiguous. If it's still too much, just yell at me.

Glad to see some more interest in this.

Welcome to Welcome, Mentality

As far as Memphis Bill's "Scarlet Bloom", she is not forgotten; I merely improperly performed the first attempt and will be working with it again. This puts me at the halfway mark for the current Briefs. Attempting to do full lines at least every two days as time permits. Hopefully I can continue that pattern.


For any of you who haven't been aware, didn't ask, or what have you: If your piece is at some stage of completion and you would like a personal copy (non-watermarked), send me a note either here or on Deviantart and I'll see about getting you one.

Gosh, are you still accepting these? If so, I'll toss one into the ring. If not, please disregard.

Sure ya do, buddy--ain't every day you meet the hottest thing in the sky!" She signed the photo The Shrike STRIKES! with a flourish. "There ya go, kid. Y'know how I love my fans!"

"Now, outta the way, there, pal." She finished lacing her boots and hopped down from the sleek airplane's wing, pausing to button her flight jacket. With a final wink, she snapped her goggles down. "Okay, kid, I gotta scram." In a blaze of golden light she swept into the air. "This has been swell, but I got some Nazi heads to bust!"

You blew me away with your work on my brief, as well as every other brief here. Fantastic work, and I can't wait to see the others as they are completed, too!

Okay, I know I got a bit side tracked on this part but I know there were a few of you out there who wanted the non-marked copies for your personal files and had sent that note through deviantart. Unfortunetly with V6.0 all my notices have been erased and I don't recall who had sent and who hadn't. I have a note through the forums from Darmodand for theirs, who else had wanted one?

To give an update for everyone, I do have a list (excluding a couple recent additions that I need to save on the file) in the order that everyone requested in and was "saved".

List as it currently stands:

Anything with a (C) is being considered "Completed" at the moment, either as a full finished product or finished lines (B&amp;W). And MemphisBill, the only reason yours is "skipped" at the moment is because I had ... "messed up" the original and have to redo it

Ironik's is skipped because that one is/was the only that is currently stumping me and haven't come up with a good turn over for it.
