Opinions on this Arachnos themed female costume?

Extremely nice concept, and it is a good starting point.
(I have no idea what's a prepositional phrase, subordinate clause, or even core sentence in the above sentence. It is? That works... anyway, on with the posting!)
You use the colors to accentuate her bust a bit. This is not only a pet peeve of mine, but not something Arachnos typically does. Their costumes are typically so monotone that such features don't get special attention.
Also, the outfit has bulky bits, like the jutting kneepads. Arachnos themselves tend to be more sleek and minimalist in their approach.
Again, I like it a bit, but you seem to be looking for critiques. 
Last time I posted for opinions I was told I should use more colors so it would be less dull. :P So I accentuated certain parts with red instead of just all black/grey which I tried but looked boring. :P
And Widows look generally minimalist, Wolf Spiders, Crab Spiders etc are anything but lol.

More colors that don't clash = good. Which is why this outfit is by far better than monochrome costumes.
I like the outfit, but the silver on the shoulderpads makes the outfit a little top heavy. Try making the belt's inside color match the red of the outfit and the trim that same silver tone. I would *not* however make the silver more dull to match the pattern on her bodysuit, since it provides a nice highlight to the outfit. It's those kind of interesting accents that make good outfits.

Tried the belt suggestion but it just comes out looking like a candy cane (doesnt come out silver, looks white)
The original outfit didnt have any shoulder pieces, and then had Enforcer pieces and I finally went with whats there. I like it but its not "I NEEDS IT!" heh so it could go.

I thought they all looked pretty bland so I tried to create some suggestions. She doesn't like the outfit in the OP, but I think it looks nice and was wondering what other people thought.
black outside, red inside long cape, ditching the shoulder cape when possible, sorta like the bane spiders.
Of those shown I like your friends. They are a bit bland... but I think they fit the overall look of Arachnos better. Does she have access to any of the Arachnos chest symbols? Or the Arachnos cape symbol? Or any of the helmets? They of course would help with the theme.

My opinion would be to use the options for the gloves and boots that don't include the pads - those look a bit out of place, IMO. As do the spikey shoulder pads. Maybe try some of the smaller pads shaped more like normal shoulder pads would be, in the two-tone.

Overuse of saturate black is definitely for the lose. It seems like she wants something plain that will get lost in the sea of other 'villains' so I'd just let her and be done with it.

me and suichi always seem to think alike.
On the OP costume, I think the colors you picked are perfect. I think you need to change the gloves and shoulderpad to something less bulky like Darkether said too. I don't think it would look that bad if you used the sinister shoulderpads with red/black and a smooth model glove that matches the chest pattern and texture well. I dunno about belts though, I usually keep it simple or exclude it entirely.

Yeah, I'm going to be using Pushing Daisies for a bit. 
The trick is, you want more color variety, but the faction you're following is the most cliche villain color set there is: Masses of black and masses of red.
If you like the color variation, work on making the outfit more sleek and smooth. Keep posting the pics! ^_^

I like the Bane Spider Scout motif the best. That's the black and purple in the middle.
Of course it would help if we knew what powerset she was.
