You take the parts that are groups of things you can't wear at the same time (tops, bottoms, hats, wrists, boots) then count how many in each group, then multiply the groups together. So, if you have 5 tops, and 5 bottoms and 3 boots, and 3 hats and one thing on the wrists (don't forget to count the none option) it would then be say 5x5x4x4x2 (I"m assuming that top and bottom can't have a none option).
Ok there is normal top bikini top and.. no... top. :P same with bottoms. and boots is on/off. :P
so... add!

each pice you add is multipled by the number of combination of all other pieces
if you add new boots:
3x3x3 = 27
if you add new bottoms OR new tops:
4x3x2 = 24
if you add new bottoms AND new tops:
4x4x2= 36
if you add sun glasses (or something else is not tops,bottoms,boots):
3x3x2x2 = 36
18 doesn't sound right, I think it's 14 :P
