References for Drawing People - help for artists

Here's something I always find myself digging for when I begin a new picture; a good photo reference. So, I thought it may be helpfull to the general community here if we started a thread with links or suggestions for good photoreferences of people and the like to work off of! I have quite a few on Deviant art I probably couldn't find off the top of my head, but here's several interesting one's I've found usefull...

Facehunter; http://facehunter.blogspot.com/
This one's like random pictures of people, pretty much. But they all look absolutely interesting and different - its great practice to just draw what you see going down the huge list of photos they have.

Lockstock on DA; http://lockstock.deviantart.com/
This lady posts alot of great stock photos, including packages of themed pictures you can download and sort through for references. I think all the DA linked stock photo type of pages require or at least ask you link them with what you come out with using their photos.

Ladydove7-stock; http://ladydove7-stock.deviantart.com/
Another DA stock artist - Oddly you'll find alot of these people have copiously large amounts of stock photos of them with katanas. She has alot of great themed poses running as well, very usefull. I think they both great selections of pirate outfits too!

Ahrum-stock; http://ahrum-stock.deviantart.com/
One of the few really good male stock photo providers, this guy has a great series of poses in his gallery I highly recommend you look at; along with a fantastic series of 'perspective' style pieces. I had a hard time finding good male figures for pics, but this guy has a good selection..

Wicked Weasel bikinis; http://wickedweasel.com/usd/
I found this doing a .. errr.. search for weasel bikinis, one day. Google inspires odd things. It has a pretty good selection of women in rather typical 'swimsuit spread' poses. So if you were looking for something like that, this is a good spot. It sorts by models, as well

I have a number of sights I go to for just.. photos, like for backgrounds or textures as well, but as that sort of thing is more a ...style... I guess.. exclusive for CGing and photomanipulation and all, I figured these would be more universally usefull.

Thats all I got for now! I hope these are all helpfull to you, feel free to post your own.

Great topic. I've been setting my models up in Poser, but to make them "Heroic" this link was helpful: How-to-draw Superheroes

Sorry if this is off-topic. Re-reading the OP after posting I see you may have only wanted photo-references

Some of my favorite sites:

MJ Ranum, dA stock photos dynamic photos in a variety of poses, both action and static. He's not currently taking requests, but has in the past.
Fetish Faerie Stock, dA: good for both facial expressions and poses.
Gallery of Nudes NSFW. A variety of photographer with tons of images in catagories of couples, female-female, male-male, etc. Really excellent site for seeing the interaction of two people. And although nudes are prevalent on this site, it's definitely not porn.

Longstock

This person on deviantArt really has some great photos and poses also. What I like about her is that she puts on costumes too, so you can get references for those, as well as what kind of poses would be suited with what costumes and vice versa.

Yup, I often head to the "artistic nudes" section of DA myself (for purely artistic reasons of course).

Here are ones you guys can use that I did up HANDS - HANDS2 - FACES

You're very welcome LJ - I'm glad it's helpful to you too. It's sad there's only a dozen pages on the link if it's out of print I'll do a library search for it though.

Those are all great, I'll have to try them out in the future. The superhero one seemed a good run down as well. I thought it was interesting how each artist had to comment on breast size.

My wife just ordered me a used copy... (see why I love her so ) but after reading those pages, here's a quick result on the sketches I'm doing for Larissa's upcoming piece:

The one on the left before this thread, the one on the right, done a few hours ago...
