I saw the story. cool! But as one with alien characters I know my character Flareback would say- "Vs. aliens? Why is it ALWAYS versus aliens? You know, some of us ALIENS are not THAT bad! (Sticks out tongue)"
But it would be cool to see a movie based on CoX. Would be even cooler if my characters made it into the movie!

That alone is almost enough to turn me away from it. But produced by the guy who is doing transformers is cool, as long as transformers is cool and not crappy, but guess we'll all find out in 3 weeks. :P

Depends... If they're just going to set up the source material for standard movie industry, lowest common denominator, 'Have Superman fight polar bears and his costume is a fake symbiote he keeps in a bottle in his closet', treatment, then I'd prefer an actor who can shine above that kind of tripe, like Bruce Campbell. Simon Pegg can probably pull that off too.
In the off chance they actually really materialize the core of the source material, then I'd want to go for someone with heavy chops, like Ryan Gosling or Edward Norton. Although I doubt my toon'd get any screen time for them to work with.
Oh oh something I just remembered. I think the night after I first read about this CoH movie, the next morning I had a dream that I got an email from Cryptic that went something like "Hello! We would like to include your character Rowr in the upcoming City of Heroes movie! We need your permission to do so, as well as to flesh out her background and personality for the screenplay, so could you please contact us back at your earliest convenience. Oh this is under an NDA so you can't tell anyone!"

Jordan matches the look and age of the character more closely.
Roselyn would probably capture the spirit and spite a little better.

Or...think if all the increased revenue for the game; thereby increasing the longevity of this MMO and maybe more staff for faster better Issues......that wouldn't suck.

I doubt it would hurt the community to much, if you haven't noticed most noobies go to the most populated servers(AKA Freedom, Virtue, and ect.)

I agree. I don't have any specific actress in mind when I think of Larissa, although Milla Jovovich leaps to mind. She has an unusual look, which I like, and her characters are powerful and often cold, distant (which suits part of Larissa's story)
I vote MarDun to be in the movie!!!!
