Okay... you guys, just stop it! Do you realize how many posts that was for me to read??? Well, it's a lot... a looooot.
But this idea... it does intrigue me. Granted, i play about as much as I post though, so, um, might not be around much. I always seem way too busy. Half the time, i'm scampering about like a cat chasing a light trying to get everything done that needs doing on Monday only to learn it's Wednesday 
Still, I'll get me one of those character thingies made over on... wait for the scroll... um... scrolling... scrolling... Liberty.. ah.
About the whole going as your name sake thing though... my name sake is just a screen name. I have no character named Graver (and can't seem to get one... it's always taken. How the hell I got it as a global I'll never know). I know Absinthium is my main but the thought of playing a 'troller through the pre 20's again makes me sob like a little boy wearing a pink frilly dress on stage. And to be honest, my screen name is closest to my other main screen name, Graveboy. I'll see if I can get that one unless I'm just really supposed to make Abby again.

Graver: I actually ended up changing my global to match my 'main' rather than roll up a character I literally played once for maybe ten minutes, back when I started this game. I'd say do what you want to, but it'd be cool if you either showed up as a variant of your global 'self' (like Alex or Derek) or as your main. And no one said Abby had to be a controller - Blitzkrieg's a Warshade this time 'round.

It was sweet seeing so many of you in one place tonight. It definitely felt like Statesman had arrived when TA and Feral Kat showed up.
It would be good to see a Graver over on Liberty! And I don't think I'd worry too much about the frequency of playing - I don't think these are any of our main characters or even servers, for the most part.

We're just trying to make a SG with the heroes we know from herer and we would recognize in game immediatly.
So the most important is how they look.
Same powerset or similar powersets are definitely a plus to identify the characters, but no one is forced to litteraly stick on something they would not want to do.
Thor's Assassin as en elec character in black armor with a hood = that's the idea.
Thor's Assassin as a 5 feet high pink elf in tights = that's not the idea.
