Trying to get a good full screen shot of my hero

Is there a trick? When I center on my hero and zoom in, the screen seems to center pretty high on the hero. So when I try and get in close for a high res screen shot of just my hero, it crops the lower half. If I zoom out to get the feet and whole body shot, I have to go out so far that I am getting tiny screen shots of my hero.

I have a beautiful 1440 x 900 screen. I do not want to crop my shots down to a 300 x 300 image

TY

When I took screenshots of Bayani for the profile page, I used my second account with max graphic settings to take the shots. I can help you take a high-rez shot later if you want. But yeah, having a second account or another person to take the shots for you is the best way to do it.

Both of them are good advice.

Or, if you have Hover you can get yourself some altitude and that will allow you a little more freedom with the camera and make it easier to get a full body shot. With enough playing you can even make it look like it's dead on, instead of angled from below.

Example

your = Belonging to you.
you're = Contraction meaning "You are."
Ur = The name of an ancient Mesopotamian city.
ur = This is not a word.

Never thought to make a demo record. That's an interesting idea.

But if you do... please.. please.. please... find an Outdoor location and take the screenies during the Daytime cycle. SO many times I see Players showing off the 'perfect screenie' of their characters.. and it was taken down some in-game dark Alley at Night or some sewer-mission, and you need a blow-torch to make out the silhouette of their body.

I have trouble sometimes with low level villains but it's generally not an issue.

Going the Demorecord route... you can always do one of a bright environment, then use THAT as a 'stage' for any character you like (hero OR villain, doesn't matter.) In fact, if you wanted to, you could 'pose' multiple characters in the same shot.

Just cut and paste the appropriate sections.

And yeah, you want to get into the nitty-gritty of demorecord character photography, consult Zloth.

"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."

Once you get the hang of it -- which I haven't quite got, yet -- you can manipulate anything. Check out Sparky's demoedits as an example. They must be around here somewhere.

The two that I have handy at the moment are of some of the villains I and my SG made standing in AP under the globe: Villains. As you can see, you can add anything to it, as well as move the camera around.
