Question on Paragon City law

Something I'd be interested to know for one of my characters... is there a minimum age requirement for Hero registration? If not, are there restrictions below a certain age, or stricter requirements?

Not really...Just look at Hallucinogen and Essex!

I mean, they are pint-sized children and they are already-

As far as we know, all you need is super powers and the desire to register yourself.

Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.

Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.

NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.

Considering the ammount of raw legal power given over to registered heroes, that's somewhat disturbing.

nah not really. considering most child laws. one could assume that paragon city has laws in place, provisos, addenda etc. that cover such. ,

most likely insisting that child heroes, attend regular schooling, have an parental figure or guardian available, or appointed by the law. Aslo it wouldnt suprise mew to see a child hero academy or private school that teaches young children to control their powers and become heroes for the city.

So you mean you'll put down your rock, and I'll put down my sword; and we'll try and kill each other like civilized people?

Well, I just have to insert here that Essex and Hallucinogen aren't really children. <_< I mean, they sort of are, but...

Essex is an android, and Hal is a...thing. >_> <_< >_>

But yeah. Given the appearance of Baby New Year, the thought of an infantile hero rocketing through the streets of Paragon City gives me the giggles.

Hal: <_< Yeah. Great explanation, I'm a thing. Thanks a lot. -_-

Uh, but yeah. I agree with the stuff said above and all. I'm basically just chiming in for no good reason. I would guess that whatever laws there are governing heroes in Paragon are fairly flexible, given the. . . variety.

Experiment: ...Hal is a thing! Haha! I now have something ELSE to laugh about rather than those two's weird--

Yeah... I would say there is no law apart from the basic things Khell mentioned.

Although, I doubt all of those ten year old kids have schools. I mean, I see them out all the time! If they have school, it must be very short.

Like them.

Actually, in my main's background I invented such a school: Roserock Academy in Talos.

Also, I'm pretty sure I read something somewhere about an academy. Maybe it was in one of the comic books. I'll see if I can find it.

Not sure... My youngest character's bio puts her at 1 month old (Fairy baby); but Lilly's a villian. Not really a min for that.

If child prodigy's can get in higher schools, don't know why a hero couldn't be younger than normal too.

Well, considering there are robotic heroes (Such as Essex...) that wouldn't meet most normal age requirements, there msut be local provisions to allow them to be registered. Since in an environment like this, there'd definitely be "Ender-like" child heroes, I'm sure that if they were so inclined, they'd exploit the loophole allowing the androids and robots to help protect Paragon City. If you intend to have an RP/Story featuring a school for heroes, I suppose that would work just as easily.
