Ink a day ?

Well, not exactly one ink a day because I can't promise this, but I would like this topic to be the spinoff of ImagebyAlex's Sketch a day.

Alex does amazing sketches tha I enjoy inking, so we could let my other inks topic die and I start posting my sketch-a-day inks here.

And if a king colourist likes to do a "colour a day ?" topic, that would be the awesomeness.

Anyways, no more talking, here are my inking debuts:

Achtung Baby
Spinomania
Back Alley Scrapper
Baby Tank Girl
Blitzkrieg Bop

I think this will be the last for today:

Great work! All of them are super, but, I like Back Alley Scrapper, Baby Tank Girl, and Kakau best.

This is going to be an awsome thread!

You did a great job on those!
If you're looking for more of pieces of Alex's to ink, I'd love for you to ink Trixey. Unfortunately, I'm visiting family for the holidays so can't give you a link to the drawing, but she's in Alex's thread. She was drawn on Wednesday I believe (maybe Tuesday). If you can't find it, I'll send a link to it when I get back home next weekend.
Keep up the great work!

You'll never ink me alive! Never!

Are you only doing Alex's work, Spin? Or would you possibly do one of Jim Tessier's pieces?

I love this Trixey piece, I have it on my HD, I have saved all of Alex's sketches to keep me busy for the years to come so don't worry finding a link

I'm looking for more sketches, so Jim's ones would work for me, if it's okay with him.
I'd like to try different styles, anyways, so the more the better.

I need to find more sketches from him, I know there's a topic somewhere withj a lot of them.

Oh so cool man!! I may have to get you to ink some of the Roxstar sketches that I was planning on inking that others have done. :P

This is not CoH, but I have inked a Sue Storm piece from Luis XIII ( here )

I've asked him if it is OK for me to post the inked piece.

Luis XIII site.

Posted

Two things

1) Did alex give his ok for all of this?

2) Any chance you'll get around to doing the pic of Juggy he did?

Posted

Juggy,

1. Yes, of course I've asked Alex before starting this thread, it was the least I could do. I always ask before I post something I didn't do completely, as I've asked Luis XIII and I will ask Jim Tessier when I'll start with his sketches.

2. Juggertha is definitely on my to do list, I love Alex's take on him.

So, I have the "go" from the artist, so I can post today's work on Sue Storm the resident Fantastic Four Invisible Woman.

First, let me point you to Luis XIII website.

Then, to the original pencils.

Now, here's my work on inks (the artist even complimented me on this

And the coloured version, which I choosed to do in a silver age sort of way.

Nice work, Spino! Feel free to play with any of the pencil pieces in my gallery if you feel froggy. I am pretty sure Jim Tessier has said before that he doesnt mind people inking and coloring his stuff.

wow, very cool, at this rate, you'll have all my sketches inked and colored in no time! I better start doing more sketches!
