Yeah, you guys were right about the background, I knew there was something nagging in the back of my brain about it. I went ahead and made it look more dark and space-y. I like it better this way

I think his hips and legs are right (believe it or not, I had a reference picture of a guy rock climbing on a clear rock wall ) I think what's pulling your eye is the fact that his crotch is too short. (I ALWAYS make the #%$@#-ing crotches too short 
) But by the time I noticed it I didn't want to have to re-shade all those crazy vein thingies XD

I was trying not to say anything about the crotch as I don't want folks to think im fixated , my intrest is purely artistic and wholesome !
